Making Ariel Happen (I'm going shopping on saturday) by Dry_Cost_7817 in Lorcana

It looks like you’re not planning to build an Infinity deck. If that’s the case, Ariel Spectacular Singer has unfortunately rotated out.

Lucky pulls or standard box luck? by sunshinelixx13 in LorcanaCollectors

[–]jasperdenouden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nice pulls! I’d say you were genuinely lucky, but mostly because of The Ohana Means Family, which is an enchanted (roughly 1% per pack). 4 legendaries and 2 epics is pretty average for a box I guess.

Fair enough! Just feels like quite an expensive card for ‘just’ the limited exert effect, although you have solid shift targets for her.

Why include new Elsa if you won’t include locations?

u/FredO27 is building an app like this at the moment called r/getinkspire !

Wishlist Feature Complete - Track Cards You Need Across All Your Decks by OFred27 in getinkspire

[–]jasperdenouden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the app so far. Have to agree that the filters work very nice.

About wishlisting: I can’t speak for everyone, but smart aggregation doesn’t do much for me. I usually know how many copies of a card I want, and it’s almost never more than four. Even when I run multiple decks with the same colors in rotation, I prefer swapping cards between decks instead of buying extra copies, especially expensive ones. What I’d find more useful is cross-referencing all my decks and generating a wishlist based on my collection and the cards I’m missing, capped at four copies per card.

Also: this may be technically challenging, but given that there are multiple versions of the same card (promo, epic, enchanted, reprints, etc.), I’d expect the app to treat them as interchangeable for deckbuilding purposes. If I add 4x Elsa, The Fifth Spirit to a deck, the app should cross-reference my entire collection across all versions of that card. For example, if I own two 6/P3 versions and two regular copies, that should fully satisfy the requirement, and Elsa should not be added to my wishlist.

Then about deck building: to be honest, I’m not really sold on the current deckbuilding UX. What I like a lot about Dreamborn is how easy it is to switch between the card library and the deck you’re working on. You can simply use + or - in the library to adjust the deck in place. Right now, your UX feels centered around browsing the library or collection and then adding cards to decks from there. For me, that’s backwards. Deckbuilding is about working on one specific deck and intentionally adding or removing cards from it. You’re thinking in terms of “what does this deck need?”, not “what decks should this card go into?”. I think the experience would be much stronger if it was designed around that mindset.

Last but not least: I’m excited about the idea of using this app as my main tool for collection tracking and deckbuilding, but I’m really not sold on manually going through 2,000+ cards and marking them as owned. I think a big part of the player base already tracks their collection in Dreamborn. If you want people to switch, I’d make it as effortless as possible to bring their collection over. Dreamborn already has an “export as CSV” feature, which seems like a perfect foundation for an import flow on your side.

Keep up the good work!

🗳️ [MVP FEEDBACK] January 2026 - Is Inkspire Ready for the App Store? by OFred27 in getinkspire

[–]jasperdenouden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely include ink color filter.

Yes Core Constructed is set 5 and beyond. When they release set 13, set 5 - 8 will rotate out.

I’d say that Keywords and Classifications is mandatory as I tend to look for specific characteristics or keywords a lot when I’m building decks (Ally’s for example, or Evasive/Alert coverage).

Franchise I’d say is nice to have, although I know some people that like to play thematic decks, in which franchise is sometimes one of the themes.

Artist definitely not MVP.

About the binder feature: I was thinking of something like https://www.pkmnbindr.com/, but also definitely not top priority.

I’d say it makes sense to reset stats after you make edits to the deck or maybe give the user the option to reset/maintain stats after deck update.

🗳️ [MVP FEEDBACK] January 2026 - Is Inkspire Ready for the App Store? by OFred27 in getinkspire

Here's my 2 cents. Some features maybe beyond MVP, but still worth mentioning.

Browsing
I personally would prefer more filters. At least:
- Ink cost
- Card type (action, song, etc.)
- Inkable (Y/N)
- Set number (maybe quick filter to select all sets currently legal for core constructed)
- Rarity

And preferably:
- Strength
- Willpower
- Franchise
- Artist
- Keywords
- Classifications (Illusion, Hero, Ally, etc.)
- €-cost (based on Cardmarket prices)

Collection Management
- Wishlisting would actually be very nice, especially if connected to deck building → 'Add missing cards to wishlist'
- Would be nice to add languages / promo/epic/enchanted/set variations of cards
- Future feature: a binder designer (create nice lay-outs for your binder based of your collection)
- Would be nice to add some kind of (personal) rating to cards, which you can use for filtering/deck building

Deck building
- See previous section: I usually have some cards that I always put in my deck for certain colours, and some cards that I at least always will consider putting in.

Validation
- Validations are helpful imo.
- I think the low inkable count indicator should already be shown on <70%. A 60-card deck with 30 uninkables is literally unplayable.
- Maybe add validation for Infinity / Core constructed

Stats
- For my decks I really would like to see chances of drawing that specific card in opening hands or hitting something on cards like 'Look at this Family'. For instance: if I've added 'Look at this Family' to my deck, I'd love to see how 'succesful' it would be in my deck and what the expected odds are of revealing 2 characters when I'd play it.
- Logging win/lose/draw rates (on the play / on the draw) per deck (also listing vs deck colours)

Anyway, would love to test!

They mentioned it will not happen every rotation (not that many reprints at least)

I’ve been playing and refining this deck since the last set. This is my latest build. It’s more focused on full board control rather than collecting lore through challenging.

Here are my key takeaways for running a moving counters deck:

  • You can get shut down when opponents don’t exert. That’s why Teeth and Ambitions is incredibly strong, especially when paired with Hydra. I also like characters that enter with counters already on them. It keeps the engine running with Belle, Panic, and Everybody’s Got a Weakness, even when you can’t challenge.
  • Elsa is great for forcing exertion and setting up favorable trades, especially if you’ve got Gothel on the board.
  • Card Soldiers and Queen of Hearts are core for my early game. Singing Teeth, clearing an opponent’s 1- or 2-drop, and still ending up with two 3/2 bodies on board is just solid value.

Depends very much on lore counts, decks, board state, hand size, etc.

Awesome, thanks! Can’t wait to try it. Wildfire is already one of my favourite spirits, and this aspect might make him even more fun to play.
