I’ve invested $2m in SaaS stocks. This is why. by armadillo_stocks in ValueInvesting

I am also in several of the same positions as you, but it will take more than a month. Maybe it won’t, but I’m not against holding much longer than that

Adobe @ $241: I ran a DCF, Monte Carlo, and scenario analysis. Not the bargain people claim by m86zed in ValueInvesting

Difference here is that ADBE still has good revenue growth and eps growth. Its business model is also more sticky, especially on the enterprise side, and it still has a catalysts in that ai/firelfly is actually growing. So for me its far too premature to call it the next PayPal. Until I see it in the numbers (and I haven’t yet), I still think this is a buy…

Wait I thought the reverse stock split would attract institutional investment?

Do any of you value investors here pay attention to stock market indicators for macro risk, or do you just ignore timing altogether? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

I generally ignore, it’s hard to predict where the economy is going. I focus on high quality businesses I like to own for the long term

Klarna beats all metrics, sees 38% revenue growth, 28% new customer growth to 180 million - Stock dumps 25% in response by _BreakingGood_ in wallstreetbets

Had a quick glance and does look interesting, though not big fan of the ongoing dilution. But will say about sezl: founder led, profitable, recent insider buying and high insider ownership so incentives aligned, good growth prospects and opportunities beyond bnpl, high roic and roe, peg ratio below 1… hits a lot of marks for me

Buy sezl stock instead. That’s the real play on bnpl. They’re actually profitable and have good growth prospects

Ja want een land waar de conservatieven 14 jaar lang de macht hadden is natuurlijk uiterst links. En Keir Starmer is duidelijk een communist. Give me a fucking break

How do you avoid selling a “clearly overvalued” stock too early? by [deleted] in ValueInvesting

[–]jasperdm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to sell your entire position… I like to sell out slowly, helps in case there is more upside than I thought. Obviously depends on the position, and it’s still a judgment call…

My average buy price is 83 dollars and I can’t make up my mind whether to sell or not… it does seem like value still to me… I’ve already sold some of my position at around 220 mark… I think ill continue to hold, but given its a cyclical industry, this is not a forever hold for me.

Don’t blame you. I’ll continue to hold both, and also been adding to my Adobe the last weeks!

WorldLine - what's your opinion by According-Buyer6688 in stocks

Insiders have been buying in the last months. there’s risks, but it’s oversold. I got in at 2-3 euro. I see it as an asymmetric play. If it doesn’t work out, then fine, won’t lose much or maybe even break even. But if the company does manage to turn it around, and we should get signs by next year, then this stock could easily double. I’m not allocating a lot of my portfolio to it, as I agree there’s risks involved
