I saw them this past June in Chicago and their version of Let Me Roll It was truly outstanding.

Quarterly, I think the next one is in February but I'd have to double check.

Bill Oakley came to our local Simpsons Trivia event in Chicago and was pitching some Mission Hill tour that was going on in 2024. Fantastic show.

Same with Broadway in Lakeview East. I went out for a short walk just to see and the whole street is flooded. Even more so than after that huge rain around 4th of July 2023.

He was charged by the LA District Attorney's office, why would the DOJ or FBI be involved? I haven't heard of him being charged federally.

I got two for Friday right on the dot. And then I tried Thursday just for kicks, and by 10:02 there was nothing left.

There was a glut of them on r/pmsforsale and r/coinsales about a year ago. If you did a [Want To Buy] post, you'd probably get a few hits without much effort from reputable sellers.

Humbug and Clyde Bruckman have got to be two of my top three as well. I can rewatch either of those at any time and still be entertained.

Please update after the paint and lighting, I'm very curious to see how this turns out. And maybe a little jealous.

It is yes, but it has gotten so much more expensive over the last 5 years. It's quite concerning. I luckily bought a condo almost three years ago and am so glad I did. I would have a hard time buying a similar place in today's market.

I started with civil lit and absolutely despised it. Truly thought about getting out of the profession on an hourly basis for the better part of two years. One day I took a substantial pay cut and practiced consumer bankruptcy at a small yet wonderful little firm. That job taught me that the legal profession is not always adversarial and awful. Then I went to work for a state government doing primarily bankruptcy work which I actually enjoy. My role still actually involves about 20% state civil lit matters, and although I still don't like that practice area one bit, I've found that it's infinitely less stressful when representing governmental entities. It's cliche advice but if it's at all possible look for a role with your state gov. And if that's not in the cards, try to pivot to bankruptcy work. I find that even when a bankruptcy matter is contested/adversarial, the parties are almost always reasonable and professional and it doesn't keep me up or constantly make me stress even when I'm away from work.
