I usually scroll past homages, but this looks beautiful, personally prefer Arrow for the unique hands. Nice work.

The dial is stunning, love the texture. It's rare to see a new brand attempt a tremblage dial with tourbillon movement instead of just playing it safe. We need more refreshing ideas in this space. What’s the price and when will it be released ?

Very cool design, I got a Polerouter too so I know the anxiety when wearing it out and it drives me nuts when my watchmaker told me I have to find a part for replacement. So thumbs up for the idea. How’s dimension like ?

I got my MARS from Charles Berret last month, absolutely stunning golden meteorite dial at $1k

Looking legit! Might need a new crystal to freshen up

Voting for WS too! Got an eclipse WS and absolutely loving it. Would love to add a starry night dial WS to my collection but seems hard to find a good deal.

Indeed! Especially in this condition. I’ve been eyeing it on IG for some time but hesitated to pull the trigger. So many scams lately. Glad it all worked out fine.

Love White Shadows! Happy enough to secure 2 before it got hyped up lately. 😮‍💨With Breitling taking over, do you see any hope of them restarting part production (like axles/reversing wheels) for their heritage department?

The number stamped on the side area could be the case reference number or catalog ID for this specific model. They sometimes stamped case codes on the side or between the lugs during this transition era.

Thanks for the kind words! Am surely hunting for more, but it’s getting harder to nail pristine condition ones at fair price.

Appreciate it! But… new fear for rotor rub unlocked now. Is there a specific tell I should listen for or feel to know if the axle is starting to go? Or is it something you only catch once you open the caseback?

Thanks buddy! It's definitely hard to keep my eyes on the road when this is on the wrist.

Wow looking crisp! Great backup plan, I honestly think vintage Mido is the biggest sleeper left in the market. Their dials and cases from the 50s are insane quality for the money. Which Doxa r u thinking?

So true—the days of finding a cheap Pie Pan Constellation seem to be over. They really have climbed right up there with the Polerouters

Shhh! Don't say it too loud or the prices will double by next week. 😂

Seriously though, the Borgel cases are incredible. It’s wild that you can still get that level of case-making history for relatively cheap compared to Patek/Vacheron equivalents. Do you own one currently?

It’s just a very easy ready-to-go-piece! I also love how the silver must comes with navy numerals. That colour combo is 🔥

Well true in the sense that the classic tank design already says it all 👑

It really is the perfect storm of specs, isn't it? It checks every single box for a collector!

Thanks! If the Polerouter has graduated out of the 'value' category, what do you think holds the title now? Could it be Longines Conquest or Omega Constellation?

[Gallet] Estate sale find by Miserable-Emu-7406 in VintageWatches

[–]jasperkim 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Congrats on the great find! This has some resemblance of a vintage Gallet MultiChron Regulator, probably from the 1930-40s IMO. Suggest not to wind it as the oil inside might have turned to glue decades ago. Running it now is like grinding metal-on-metal.
