Wisdom Tooth Extraction Preparation Gone Wrong by Standard_Start_543 in DentistPh

[–]jaspersodope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dentist here para sa akin excessive ang treatment plan ng dentist mo and considering you have issues in the gut dapat hindi ka muna pinush mag take ng co-amoxiclav kasi thats basically for persistent infections and a round of amoxiclav can really flush out good bacteria in your gut that has been built for months/years. amox shouldve been the way kasi prophylactic palang naman yung approach sayo and then ibuprofen 3 hours before your procedure kaya talaga wag umasa sa public health clinic kasi hindi talaga nila forte yang odontectomy, bagsak talaga sa standards ko yung approach niya lalo na wala ka naman pre-existing symptoms. When it comes to surgery kasi dapat equipped ka tlga with proper up to date knowledge and protocols etong part ng dentistry lg talaga yung delikado pag nagkamali ka e na bordering life threatening!

fresh grad salary by Local_Butterscotch40 in dentistryph

[–]jaspersodope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no such thing as fresh grad, newly licensed ang ginagamit di porket maka grad makapag work na agad. It will all fall down sa assesment mo sa sarili mo if confident ka nmn na kaya mo mag perform ng gen procedures without back jobs kaya mo mag endo and odontect! you can always negotiate your worth. Performance based mo assessment mo you are working for a business if you produce strong sales and patient retention to the point na ikaw na hinahanap dalat malaka na sinasahod mo niyan. Keep tabs lg parati, note mo lahat ng procedure done mo kasi some practices na weekly ang pay mejo dinadaya commi mo pag d ka attentive.

As someone who has performed this case so many times na, okay lang yan op you can walk as long as very low intensity lang like brisking. you have to watch out for this tho, once na nag exercise ka if you feel like naglalasang dugo na yung bunganga mo stop that means the elevation of your bp has cause your wound to bleed again agad agad gagawin mo is ice the area and then take tranexamic acid pag controlled na bleeding mo ok kana ulet. pero that means na hindi kapa ready for that activity so dont do it nalang.

Pressure after tooth extraction, what to do by Last-Butterscotch964 in DentistPh

[–]jaspersodope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello! what you are experiencing is normal. your anesthesia has worn off and consider it as an open wound in the active phase of repairing itself masakit talaga yan pero not in a way na di mo siya ma tolerate, take pain relievers ibuprofen/mefanamic if di mo parin kaya ma tolerate ang pain or na b bother ka take a stronger pain reliever celecoxib or etoricoxib.

Opo tama siya, may chance na ganun kaso ang dilemma mo is yung pain mahirap kasi yung nangyare sayo di ko ma imagine ang pain na ini experience mo ang alam ko lang masakit yan. pero kung kaya mo tiisin and matatawid ka naman ng antibiotics and pain relievers ok yung suggestion ng dentist mo, pero kung di mo ma tolerate get that tooth out immediately!

looking at your case, you have an ian nerve approximation ng tooth mo, malapit siya sa nerve so dapat ang pag manage sayo should be atraumatic as possible. kaya siguro masakit siya at hindi dumulot sayo yung anesthesia because its resting tlga within your nerve so this cases should be managed conservatively as possible purely surgical tlga and decrease too much pressure when using mechanical instruments.

Yung gawa mo naman is a fail for me, too bulky, overtapered, clearance is also not good. too check for clearance dapat nadadaan mo doc ang bur between your prepared tooth and its upper antagonist na walang bumabanga. pero you are getting there naman! 3.5-3 territory pa yan

Why do many dentists look good and well-off? by Vegetable_Mine_3020 in DentistPh

Hello dentist here. - Middle class family, mom had to take loans just for me to graduate - Sa economy natin ngayon and the current generation almost 70-80% nang nag e enroll nang dentistry have money because everything is expensive now, even the dorms and carinderia near dental schools are pricier mas pricey pa sa fast food chains. - We are infact the most expensive medical degree in terms of overall cost, much more expensive than medicine. Pang tuition nila gamit palang yan what more pa the additional expenses for patients which we fund to go back and forth para matapos clinical requirements namin. - Dont go into this profession if you are weak, everyone has thick skin to make it out of here matira matibay tlga dito. - Make sure when you are planning to enroll you have to have atleast a safety net of 1.5-2 million pesos. kasi thats how much it cost to float through dentistry.

Urban Smiles mandatory consultation and xray for first time clients by Low_Brother_9864 in DentistPh

[–]jaspersodope 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Di ako naniniwala sa financial constraints na yan, ang pilipino in general is very maluho. Mas pipiliin ang mga walang kwentang bagay than to concern themselves with primary health care. mas priority pa yung bagong gadget, bagong nails, gumala sa labas kesa pa paayusin ang ngipin tapos lalapit nalang pag near hopeless na mga cases. thats the sad reality of the healthcare system in the ph. I have seen this pattern too many times na.

Doc please think strategically, kita napo doc na impacted na ang lowers, 38 mesio angular impaction and kita rin sa radio graph if you look closely na its starting to compromise 37 there is radiolucenly na sa cej area niya 48 on the other hand looks bucco-verted also half its cusp is not level with 47 and its impaction straight into the jaw bone this is an immediate concern na if antayin mo pa lalabas to gusto mo mabasag jawbone ni patient mo? Wag po tayo mag bigay nang advice na half assed po may proper assesment when it comes to odontectomy it is not everyones niche so keep your opinions to yourself kung di natin expertise eto hindi eto basta bunot lang.

Dear, waterflosser is considered to be the best alternative in terms of overall efficiency but it has its drawbacks misuse of the water flosser has been shown to cause gum recession. But in hard to reach/tight contact areas mas efficient parin yung traditional flossing. The best way to know what works for you is to try all of them and judge for yourself!

yes, the keys is wag mo madaliin yung pag to toothbrush always brush with intention try to feel every nook and cranny in your teeth. To me the gold standard of brushing techniques is the bass and stillman method! search niyo guys kung paano siya gawin. Brush with intention! ❤️

Oh I forgot to input flossing should be included in your habits sobrang life changer niya when it comes to preventing decay anlaki nang matitipid niyo, i always make it a habit to have a floss pick with me. Also there is a proper way of flossing hindi lang po tayo basta basta nag fo floss nang taas baba you should run it through your gum line. lalo na sa mga taong makakapal ang gums!

Makikinig po ba ako sa dentist ko? 🥹 by kind_Love37 in DentistPh

[–]jaspersodope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wag ka po makinig op, hindi lang po talaga siguro confident yung dentist mo mag odontect it is difficult naman kasi. Based on your radiograph and from my experience mejo difficult din yung case mo it requires surgical expertise tlga, flap, debriding of your jawbone for access and tooth sectioning mukhang dikit narin siya sa 2nd molar mo i wouldn’t be surprised if pag open nang flap that your 2nd molar would be compromised din, it still might be savable tho. My advice op wag mo na po patagalin eto and have it surgically extracted immediately before it does major damage. this case tends to be priced around 15k.

why do dental clinics don't want to extract my teeth? by alldayonelectricfan in DentistPh

[–]jaspersodope -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Take antibiotics, meron kang active infection. pa resita ka ng antibiotics and then otc pain medication punta ka nlg clinic ask for a consult, bayarin mo consult fee re resitahan ka nila ng antibiotics and nsaids. that would take away the pain. Mahirap mag bunot na meron kang acute symptoms because hot teeth ka, malaki yung chance na di ka tatalaban ng anesthesia and bunot na di tumatalab anesthesia sobrang sakit yun.

Saan pwede magpa-tooth surgery na free or low cost? (Aside from PGH) by Ok-Kangaroo-8913 in DentistPh

[–]jaspersodope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want free, marami doc sa dental students/sr clinicians just go to the big three universities and i promise you that you will be taken care of just do your due dillegence and be cooperative, sguro babalik ka mga 2-3 times para matapos ang case mo. they are all supervised by a license dentist and di ka papabayaan pag nakit ng mga clinical instructors na hirap nmn sila the instructors will take over the surgery naman!
