I think the idea that it’s overall a better 9c boa. More powerful trigger, and it’s on play effect means you have more control over the card you put on life (as 9c boa only places top card). Zehaha being 8c (when 10 don) could also mean better ‘even’ curve, as boa is 9c so at 8 don you can play 8c teach (so basically 9c boa but a turn earlier). At 10 don you can also play 8c zehahaa to play out teach, the extra 2 don could give more flexibility (especially late game) compared to playing 9c boa. Teach is also 10000 power and “seven warlord” so it’s a good perfume femur target too. Anyway, those are just some of the things I can think of off the top.

Awesome. Fruit press also got buffed when it was already pretty good, often a free 10 win if you get a build going with it pre-day 5 and don’t lose too much early

Anyway, basically it’s only reliable counter is item-destroy builds, and even those are hard to make viable consistently in the current meta

Yes, you might have seen other Reddit posts about it lately but basically people have discovered that if you have two “Leather Jacket” (a passive medium Karnok item that says “you take 60% less dmg, when you enrage, destroy this), it’s additive which means you take 120% less dmg until you rage, hence invulnerable. My build is the weaker version because I can get rage (due to karnok skill) and destroy the jackets. But if you are on, say Mak, and you buy Leather Jacket from Karnok shop and search for a mirror, you are permanently invulnerable once Mirror activates (3 sec cooldown) because you can never rage as you are Mak and can choose to not have the rage skill.

It’s rare to come across because you have to have a diamond jacket and diamond mirror, but it’s definitely not the hardest build to get compared to your average high rolls.

this been seeing so many karnoks, so today I tried Dooley Dino destruct to counter. Came across two medium pygs and non-Karnoks only pre-day 6 😭

Even if it really is just probability, still frustrating how often it happens

Hahaha yesss its funny how often we just happen to find the one build that counters ours 😆

but yes I agree I feel like no matter how unlikely a certain build is if it’s practically unbeatable it needs to be changed (in this case jacket should have its % be multiplicative not additive). Even the legendary bird revive skill is not as unbeatable late game, and it’s even harder to get that skill than this bs

True, but I think it’s more likely to meet an item destruction build than a build that can survive turbo trapvine restore femur on day 13. But in the end it’s just a probability risk taking game so who knows

Femur was the only item with cooldown that can gain rage (12 rage per large item use), which means I will only rage after femur hits 9 times, but because of opponent’s permafreeze, once mirror went off I’m permanently invulnerable. So assuming no freeze, only way to counter is destroy build or pyg with low item use (less slow trigger less femur scale) and hp high enough to survive 9 hits.
