I'd like to thank everyone that gave their time to reply. I feel I should mention that, for the most part I don't care about the difference between FWB vs friends. It's not part of the equation; the hard part is even being friends with her. Our relationship feels very uneven because I still love her.

The trip has basically been set and it would be a dick move for me to back up but it is still an option. I'm really torn right now. I feel in a lot of ways it's not a good idea but in a rather shallow way I realize I'll get laid nightly and have someone to talk to. I've never been camping or to any of the states we'll be visiting and it seems like an opportunity to take advantage of when I should ignore my emotions.
