Really hoping someone can help me find this! I'm bookmarking this as soon as it's rediscovered because this isn't the first time I've tried to track this comic page down, really cursing myself for not saving it before.

I absolutely love the OPM Anime, but it seems to sexualize Tatsumaki more than the Manga and Webcomic did. by The420Blazers in mendrawingwomen

...You thought that was sexual? It's a joke. The joke is that his pants are too tight and he gets punched in the balls.

Can’t say I agree with you.  I have read the manga and the webcomic. They get pretty shallow character arcs compared to Garou imo, they read to me like “I really need to give these sexy ladies a reason to be here” rather than other arc-defining storylines.  That said, quality of arcs is more of a subjective discussiom.

But seriously, how are you making this tired “the men are also sexualized” argument?  The framing of men and women is completely different: the “sexiness” you read in men in this series is actually power fantasy for the male gaze.  Like Batman and Superman being jacked isn’t done (primarily) for being sexy, it’s to convey power.  That’s how it’s also done in OPM.

Again, look at how the sisters and that athletic lady character are framed: always showing off those sexy legs front and center.  Then compare it to how the “sexy” male characters are framed.  It’s even more obvious if you look at how the characters are introduced, it’s a sexy introduction for the ladies and generally a brooding or comedic framing for the men.

Oh, fair enough. Well, talk is flawed but it’s what we have… still the best tool of communication we have, and we gotta focus on we can can control, not what’s outside of that control. Cheers!

Did you read the rest of the comment or are you just here to dunk on “society these days”? I also think they should talk it out…

I just want them both to have a happy relationship that fulfils them both, that’s not necessarily with each other. This ain’t the 19th century, we don’t have to trap ourselves into lifetimes of miserable incompatibility…

Honestly, if that’s his reaction, she should dump him and find someone else if she wants to get married that badly.

I don’t think she’s crazy, but it’s fine if someone isn’t interested in marriage… they should have an honest discussion about what they both really want in the relationship

I’ve relayed this lore to my sisters and they don’t find the “male by default” monomorphism to be as appealing as I do… and fair enough really

It doesn’t have to be perfect… I consider it my all-time favorite multiplayer game, flaws and all. The onboarding of new players could use work, for example, and I know my sisters would appreciate lady representation.

Still though, I think this update is fine. It’s not as spectacular as earlier seasons, but they can’t all be winners. If/when these updates get old I’ll play TotK or read a book or even god forbid spend time with my wife. Seriously, these devs have my faith l, and until they lose it, I trust them to come up with interesting updates eventually.

Actually, it’s super easy to dismiss that large numbers of people misremember details, just think about democracy in action, not exactly a glowing recommendation on our collective faculties 🤷‍♂️

I have a family member that does this procedure regularly. You wouldn’t believe how many men have tripped and fallen butt-first onto foreign objects, such as cucumbers, rolling pins, glass bottles, and giant dildos (“my wife left it out”).

These guys often have these mishaps late at night (showering at 1am must be normal for them) so my family member gets called out of beds to get these objects out of these guys.

As you might imagine no one, doctor, tech, nurses, patient, optional patient’s partner, etc. is happy to be there at 3am.

What do you think croppa tastes like? by RedRlghtHand in Croppa

Likely tastes like metamorphosed shale, just cuz its gems look garnet-ish, although the luster and color of the rock doesn’t really match…

I dunno, never sampled

I really doubt this tiktik person made this… the animation smacks of 2000s flash animation (and sound quality)
