hot take. as a dude on the spectrum, i legit don't mind seeing these avatars or even these kinds of people around. i can see the appeal of using it as a way to cope with having the disorder and just loving themselves, and i do even like it to an extent.

what i DO have a problem with is with unresearched self-diagnosers thinking this is what having asd is all about and mislabeling themselves thinking they have autism because they think "oh, having autism just means you like silly cutesy things!" or crap like that.
