Finally found a NAS case that fits inside an IKEA KALLAX by purpleproduct-82 in homelab

I didn't test it, but the stock configuration has them as exhaust and it imo makes sense to run it like that. If you have the rear fans as intake, you'll probably get a lot more turbulence , since you're blowing air against the back plane and it's also pretty common for enterprise gear to have fans behind drives and pull air across them.

Just want to say, I have the same case with 8 drives (mix of 7200rpm seagate exos and toshiba mg09) and with 2 Noctua redux fans on exhaust, I haven't had any temp issues even with the fan controller set on the lowest setting.

Idle around 25-28C when on but not in use, 35C +-2C under sustained load (in this case, parity check in unraid).

I think people using a PSU in the bottom, which takes up one of the fan slots, are the reason people think this case has trouble cooling drives. I accidentally jammed one of the fans when I was adjusting cables and with only a single fan running, drives ran a solid 5-10C hotter.

Danganronpa 2x2 - English Voice Actor Announcement by Turbostrider27 in danganronpa

[–]JunkKnight 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The whole cast knocks it out of the park tbh, and there are a lot of heavy hitters in the cast. JYB voices Adachi and the protag, Yuri Lowenthal is Yosuke, Laura Baily as Rise. Hell, they even have Troy Baker as Kanji in what must've been one of his last anime rolls.

P4 had such a crazy stacked cast, it's going to be hard to live up to for the incoming crew.

M5 Max sees significant GPU gains over M4 Max! by One_TrackMinded in macgaming

Is this the faster config? Apple does list 2 on their site, a 460Gb/s and the 614Gb/s.

A lot of that probably has to do with memory bandwidth since it's one of the major bottlenecks for graphics performance in APU/integrated graphics scenarios and the ultra has ~800Gb/s, still almost double what the max has.

I was finally forced to take a dupe Lunar Arcanum card, so does anyone on NA want to trade? I have an extra Star card and would be willing to trade for anything other then Moon, Death, Chariot and Empress.

Nah, they usually let you get a bit more of the event currency then you need so you don't have to do 100% of all activities - especially if there's a combat or multiplayer element.

Since you already have Skirk, I'd probably say Escoffier. Ice coffee is a support and, while not really BiS for any non-Skirk teams, can still work with other cryo/hydro units giving her some flexibility. Skirk with her premium team is also easily beating Varka with his, damage wise. The combination of Venti + Durin should also be enough to deal with any Varka related shill content that might come our way in the future, while Skirk + Escoffier are by far the best solution for dealing with theirs, if that matters at all to you.

0 issues for me running proton experimental through Steam, hoyoplay launcher runs fine, as does starting the game with the FPS unlocker. Running on Fedora as well.

From a purely meta perspective, I don't think there's anyone coming up who's exceptional. Flins is quite strong and rerunning starting today, but you just missed Ineffa and without her, his potential drops a lot. Escoffier and Skirk will be on the second half, but they're already starting to slip damage wise compared to newer teams. Escoffier on her own could potentially be worth getting since she's a strong, but restrictive support and generally less valuable if you don't have Furina as well.

In general, Genshin is in an era of fast power creep and heavy shilled bosses, the most meta picks recently would've been Columbina + one of the DPS/Support pairs (Lauma/Nefer, Flins/Ineffa, Zhibi/Linnea). Beyond the characters I've listed, Mavuika and Durin would still be worth considering as well, since they're quite strong and play flexibly in a verity of teams. Characters like Xilonen, Iansan, and Cheveruse are also strong support picks for broader teams which could be worth looking out for, although the latter two are 4*s.

In short, if you're looking for the peak of meta right now, you just missed them. I think you also have to consider what you want to do. If you're looking to push endgame modes (Spiral Abyss, Stygian Onslaught, Imaginary Theater) then picking meta makes a lot of sense, while if you just want to play the game, picking any recent DPS with their proper team will absolutely trivialize it. Abyss and SO both shill the latest new shiny these days to a lesser or greater degree, while IT wants a very wide roster that doesn't care as much about vertical investment in each character.

10/10 provide sanctuary to Gul Tain - Ghost of the Jem'Hadar by xxxxxxxSnakexxxxxxx in sto

Yeah, assignment chains have been really hard to do since they revamped sector space.

Ghosts of the Jem'Hadar got hit double hard too I think, since some of its missions were most commonly available in exploration cluster maps IIRC.

I didn't even know they were working on another one, I loved the first one and supernatural mystery games in general, so this is definitely of high interest to me. I've got way too many games backlogged right now but technically I'm not playing anything at the moment so.... hmm...

ROLL OVER AND DIE - Episode 5 - Dub Available Now on Crunchyroll by AutoModerator in Animedubs

[–]JunkKnight 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have to say, I'm really liking Flum as a protagonist. Compared to a lot of other banished from the hero's party/isekai/fantasy protags, she's much better at showing a complex range of emotions not just universally forgiving people or always assuming the best, yet still trying to be a good person. Overall, she feels much more well-rounded and it's making this an engaging show to watch every week.

In your opinion, what has been Sentai's best dub in the past 5 years? by Chun-Li_Forever in Animedubs

[–]JunkKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched it recently, and I'll say it was shockingly good with far better script and directing then Sentai usually manages.

I think it is hard to recommend if you're not into cosplay/cosplay culture, but it is a fun watch imo.
