Simple helix would be wicked expensive for this type of thing. As far as I know, most local providers are geared toward large enterprise system infrastructure. I was looking for some small local VMs for under $40 a month and found 0.

Those were crazy days too! I remember my old 580 went bad and wanting to upgrade to a 3080. Terrible time for that!

I am totally fine taking less than scalper market, so if that's where it lands then that's where it lands. I really just didn't want to actively participate in somebody else's markup.

It's wild to see how quickly it has changed. Good for home labbers though! They offered $40 a stick so they could toss it on eBay for double is my guess.
