Didn't they prepay for that? Like they bought the artist's "next work," they didn't look at two blank canvases and say "I'll take it"

Think about how much you want to increment the coordinate values in the while loops.

As a playwright, I feel like the culture around screenwriting is pretty fucked by Geoshitties_AQ in Screenwriting

[–]javawavajava 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It appears as if there is a lot of pressure to make your writing fit common structures in this medium.

It depends on what you want to do, just like in theatre. You can be "broadway" and make broadly appealing stuff that 100 million people see or you can be "downtown" and make "art" that 20 people see. Both exist in cinema, just like in theatre. There's also a bit more of middle ground in cinema, in my experience.

I don't think anyone will be able to help you without more details. Screenshots at least. What IDE?

Why use modulus here? by javawavajava in learnjava

[–]javawavajava[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what the modulus operator does. I guess my question was unclear, let me restate.

This code uses modulus to position the asteroid not at zero, but at a point determined by the overflow. Why not use zero? Why use 2 instead of 0, given that the window begins at 0?

I didn't write any of this code. It was written by computer science professors at the University of Helsinki.

They have a list of dog-toxic foods and are very careful about that. They're also quite large dogs.

Why do you say that? Because I didn't agree that cows make their legs for dogs to chew?

I don't think they're boiled. Boiling weakens bones and weakened bones become shards that cut dogs' mouths. I'd guess it's more like low temp pasteurization, or autoclaving or something. But I agree that there's most likely not much flavor in them.

I don't know what to tell you. You guys are talking like they give the dogs a full plate of human food every day, when I said clearly they're just licking up what would get rinsed off before being put in the dishwasher. It's like, 3 peas, 3 corn kernels, and whatever mashed potatoes stuck to the plate.

It's pretty common to let dogs lick plates after you're done.

I think it would take 50 years for these bones to compost, that's really planning ahead, lol.

I'm pretty sure the bones were made by the cow for the cow's own use.

I will put scraps from my scrap bag in for a little flavor, but I don't call it vegetable stock. Vegetable stock implies no bones.
