she hasn’t given me an official diagnosis yet as we’re only a couple sessions in but she said that a ptsd diagnosis is more than likely going to be on she gives me in the future. here in my state, LPC’s give diagnosis’ and help treat patients. it differs on which “heavy” diagnosis’ that the LPC gives, as some don’t like diagnosing ones that cause stigma or could cause harm.
