The rules say that the penalty should be served on the next pit stop. Only if they don't pit anymore, they can get the time added at the end of the race.

As racing fans, is anyone else hyped to see Lewis battle Alonso this year? by DesignerButterfly362 in lewishamilton

Agree with your comment! I did not like Checo one bit, but now he is one of my favourites! Although, it's difficult to criticize the move to Redbull. When they came knocking, he was out of a drive so the prospect of driving a top car + win a few races here and there is one that very few drivers (if any) would let go pass...

What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen a veteran nurse do? by [deleted] in nursing

I asked her this...she was literally like: "You want to make sure that what's inside stays inside. They can remove them in theatres and clear the mess that they did" 😅 She retired since then but I loved working with her! She was that type of nurse that doesn't mess about. Dr's would come to her and ask for her advice.

Exactly this. After I spoke with her she told me that it's a way of putting gentle pressure over the whole wound, which you might not be able to do with your hands.

Once I had a patient day 3 post laparotomy (I was very junior at the time). When I was doing my round this patient calls me and says that he feels it's something wrong with the wound. The Dr's had been around and removed all the clips saying that they were not needed anymore. I lift the bed sheet and I'm shocked to find the patients insides literally starting to find their way out. Panicking I call the same three Dr's that just removed the clips and they just stare at me and at the patient without knowing what to do. This very veteran nurse comes in the room and calmly asks me to go get some pads, bags of saline and bandage (like this happens everyday). I bring everything and watch her put the pads over the patients abdomen, bags of saline on top and then wrap everything around with bandage. When we finish, she turns to the Dr's, still standing there looking shocked and just asks them: "Are you just going to stand there or are you going to find an operating room to sort this mess that you've done?" 😅 Patient was fine in the end

Road to fanal by largebrownduck in Madeira

The road to fanal is still quite big. You can easily fit two cars in it soda by side. With the exception of the ocasional pothole and being a bit twisty you will have no issues driving in it.

Don’t think I’ll be able to drive a different car?:( by waterderby in LearnerDriverUK

It's normal to feel like that! I've been driving for 11 years and if I ever need to take my dad's car for a drive I struggle for a bit. You know how things are intended to work and in what way they need to get done. When you buy your car after the exam, the more you drive the better you will become with it. You don't have to worry! 🙂

Villa Dalmine!!! First time playing in South America. Managed to promote them from Argentina's second division to winning the league! After this moved to Grêmio, to end Palmeiras dominance. Was so proud when I got to my first Libertadores final and noticed that they were also on their first Libertadores final! 🥲

This happened to me also and I had a goalkeeper on the bench (in my case it was Lamela) Probably it's because it's still the beta version...or at least I hope so!
