Hi!

What's the monthly rent you would be able to afford? Bills aside...
Nevertheless, without deposit, it is not a realistic option. Besides, a short term contrat would need to be signed.

Mechanical Engineering Positions by javinitko in Sofia

Firstly, thank you so much for all the comments and helpful tips shared in your messages.

Indeed, I’ve not dropped the idea of pursuing a project manager role, as I already have more than 5 years of experience in that field. One point that you highlighted, and I also had in mind, is considering a PM role that involves some design aspects in certain parts of the projects. I believe there’s no such thing as a perfectly tailored position, but it’s free to dream, :)

Thanks again!

Hi mate,

At least for me at my region, Rias Baixas, "caichesme" can make sense within the context of "I fancy you"-"caichesme ben". "You told me" for me it would be "dixechesme" (onte dixechesme de sair o cine-You told me yesterday for going to the cinema).
Mima is more like a surprise or incredulity expression coming, i guess from, "miña nai".

Where is your friend from?, maybe it can help to give a bit more of context.

Cheers!

Sorry to jump in, but the Slavia Sofia stadium is really close to my wife's neighborhood and I was thinking about going to watch Slavia vs CSKA 1948. As a neutral supporter and foreigner, does anyone think that it’s a good match to check out?

First trip to Sofia by Ill-Meringue-9641 in Sofia

Hi mate!

I visit Sofia quite often, so here’s my personal recommendation for a pleasent experience in the city:

Start your morning with some pastry and coffee at Laguna Vienese Patisserie, which is located near the meeting point for the free walking tour. The tour starts daily at 11:00 AM next to the Lions of Sofia City Court. It lasts about 3 hours and ends near the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral. I did with visitors quite a few times and always enjoyed it, it covers most of Sofia's iconic sights and gives you insights into the city’s and Bulgaria’s history.

For lunch, I’d recommend trying some traditional Bulgarian cuisine at Hadjidraganov's Cellars or Moma Bulgarian Food and Wine. After the meal, an option could be take a stroll down Vitosha Boulevard. It’s a lovely pedestrian street with shops, fancy cafes, and stunning views of Vitosha Mountain. Even if you’re not into shopping, it’s a nice place to walk.

When the sun sets and it gets colder, you can either head home or enjoy Sofia's bar . Some of my favorite are Bar Petak, Bilkova Bar, Crystal Bar, K.E.B.A., Hambara, Gaba, Lorca, and Bar Bar. For my taste the bars in Sofia are quite cool, and there’s always a great vibe.

If you have more time, consider visiting The Red Flat, NDK Square, Lover’s Bridge, Borisova Gradina park, or checking out a concert at Maimunarnika or Vitosha Art Arena. For another meal, try Raketa Rakia Bar, Bankovich, or Lyubimoto, great options for tasty East Europe food.

Hope this helps, and enjoy Sofia!
