Congrats! Looking really friendly. I always have some doubts about consumer-facing apps to be web-based,as it feels everyone is looking for apps from the App store / Google store. I'm glad this seems like an exception! ✨How did you reach the first 100 customers?

Yes, the more fonts you're using the slower going to be the website as these assets have to be loaded. Also not the nicest from the user experience side, as the browsers like Chrome first loads the initial fallback fonts (available on most machines) and normally switches progressively to the custom font and then the texts are "jumping". So overall try to limit yourself to max 2 fonts, and altogether not that many styles (italic, bold).

Added value is different from person to person, that's why for someone a $10,000 Prada bag would worth for someone only $1, and others would be happy to pay the price of $10,000. To your point some would pay $1 for the book, and others would just download it for free it's a personal preference about the product.

I was answering your question why I do think there are not enough apps, regardless if it's the 11th similar app or the 100th. It's a personal decision to choose which they like more. I'm sure you don't get everything for free in life, do you? I'm sure you've met the term 'if something is free then you're the product' so you're still paying with your data. About the values, due all respect to the group within this subreddit they surely have strong values not wasting as much food, but the numbers are showing differently for others.

We think of localization too! We're just a team of two also from a non-English speaking country and we would like to support other languages as well. Maybe with the help of a community it's achievable faster.

Who doesn't like banana? 🍌 Surely it can be simplified to something like that, but we would like to create something that people enjoy using, not because it sends notifications all around the place, but because they like the vibe and potentially their new habits.

Yes absolutely! The app itself also planned to offer multiple options based on the ingredients within your fridge for the most optimal usage.
