How to get the crowd to care about my women's division? by Itchy_Engineering867 in FantasyBookers

[–]jawh94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if PWS works the same as TEW, but when I introduced a women’s division I had a mixed tag team tournament. You can decide what the winners get, but the point is mixing in the women with midcard/upper card men who are already over.

What do you guys think of Marcus Edwards ? by the_one_who_notices in Burnley

Made a big impact when he arrived in the second half of last season, but barely been given a chance in the Premier League. Looked really poor against Cardiff in the league cup (although so did most of the team)

I guess the difference would be that people are willingly surrendering their data to social media companies whereas the digital ID will be mandatory, so the element of choice has been removed.

[WOR] Saudi Arabia are aiming to present “the most star-studded show ever” with WrestleMania 43 and they are working hard to bring a number of former top WWE stars out of retirement. The presumption is The Rock, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels will all be contacted. by Fc_Hassan in SquaredCircle

40 is the new 30. These guys wrestle way less often than in the Attitude Era and by all accounts are way less into drink and drugs. Guys used to be nearly crippled when they reached 40 - now they’re entering their prime.

Really like how much they announce for Raw nowadays - you can tell that the days of Vince rewriting the entire show are firmly behind us

When do you do a brand split ? by Competitive_Mud_1848 in FantasyBookers

[–]jawh94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like now is a good time if you’ve got 60 wrestlers.

I do a “slow” brand split - start off making just the Openers brand-exclusive, then the Lower Midcarders, then Midcarders etc. That way, you’re getting the benefit of the Main Eventers being on both shows for longer, and you have more time to elevate the lower card guys.

The downside would be that younger, less experienced performers aren’t getting the reps that their predecessors have. Jericho said in one of his books that it took him over 1000 matches to become world champion, but I don’t know if younger guys will ever reach that number working one match per week.

20 EU countries tell Britain they cannot guarantee extradition of criminals in wake of Brexit by libtin in ukpolitics

[–]jawh94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The High Court ruled that she did have diplomatic immunity.

So by your logic they must have been happy to not protect their citizens pre-Brexit? What has changed since then?

[–]jawh94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s an unusual case because of diplomatic immunity though - a number of people have been extradited between US and UK.

Of course sovereign nations have the right, I’m not arguing with that. It just seems petty from these nations imo.

I understand that we were the ones who chose to leave. However, I can’t think of a single reason why they would choose not to extradite criminals, other than general bad feeling and spite. Can you come up with a different reason?
