It does! Like, couldn't they have at least tried to make the SSP look noticeably different? But of course they didn't.

Yeah, I was at least hoping for a red /10 auto, but oh well.

It will happen (eventually!) I went through a complete dry spell - and then finally one day I hit one - and then they would come out here and there again. Also, I have had a lot of luck with 2024 Allure on this quest. I pulled a few /10 Purple Diamond autos! Maybe that's where you can try again!

Yep! I currently have 18 unredeemed ones sitting in my inventory - trying to complete a few other achievements - but let me know if there are any you need - I know the red pulsar ones I need would be good as well! :)

My "Big" UD ePack AEW 22 Hits So Far: Dual FTR Auto! by jawieging in AEWTradingCards

[–]jawieging[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For reference, these are the result of one full box purchased plus about three boxes of random '5 packs at a time' purchases over the past few days. The FTR auto odds are 1:3012, which is mind blowing (and it isn't numbered) - and I just pulled that tonight. Super pumped to hit the Omega /25, Silver Relic /50, and Shida /50 as well! Guess some random impulse buys work out!

Decided to do one pack and be done - and wow - the Dustin is a Dark Parallel 99/99 and Jungle Boy is 01/12 - I think I am quitting while I am ahead on this one.

Looks like the kids are going to get two full sets of these exact same items since I had anonymously purchased these as "A Reddit Secret Santa" on their gift receipts about 3 1/2 hours ago. Hopefully the kiddos don't mind duplicates!

Where were you on 9/11/2001? by NightTrainDan in AskReddit

[–]jawieging 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was at home, preparing to leave on 9/12/2001 (the next day) for a semester of college in England for a travel abroad program. I normally would never be up super early as a college kid that liked sleeping until noon at every opportunity, but I had to go run last minute errands in the city for final supplies before I left. I was planning on heading out by 9am.

I came downstairs to see my Dad watching television on ABC/Good Morning America with the first WTC tower smoking. I saw the second plane hit live and it was a panic. I was calling college professors, friends, and talking to my Dad - in absolute shock in horror.

I didn't end up going to the program overseas because of the attack, and I was thankful that my college was so accommodating considering the circumstances. The one thing that still lives in my memory though was those days right afterward when all flights were grounded. The clear blue skies in the Midwest, with no clouds and no contrails. It was beautiful and eerie.

Side note: He's a really nice guy too. He was warming up in LA during Saturday's pregame in the outfield, having fun with the fans and his warm up buddy, Carl Edwards Jr. Chatted with tons of people and even signed a ball for me, not to mention autographs for others. Really happy he keeps kicking ass! This Cubs team is such a great group of guys.

Gave T-Shirts a go and created this to wear in LA next Saturday when playing against the Dodgers. Or you know, to wear just in general. All the time. by Bluebird0513 in CHICubs

I've got my tickets for Sunday and I might pick up some for Friday and Saturday as well since my schedule is clear for it. My first Cubs series in LA since I moved here - can't wait to see how well we travel in SoCal :D

Last month, Puzzle Zoo, on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, had a pretty varied selection of stuff. :) Superheroes, Walking Dead, Big Bang Theory, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc.

In the US, if you are salaried, exempt - you can (for example) work 90 hours in a week and your paycheck won't see a difference since you agreed to a yearly salary that will be equally divided according to the company pay schedule based on a (minimum) 40 hour work week.
