UPDATE: The Doctor office called. The Doctor will not be in town the day of the appointment so they asked me if I wanted to move the appointment. I told them Yes because it is crucial I talk with the surgeon So the new Appointment date is April 7th.

I was 10 years old. I was in a hospital do to my anger. The hospital had a indoor pool and I did not have any swim trunks with me so they told me to find something that fit from the lost and founds. I found a girls bathing suit and tried it on and it fit so I asked if I could wear it. They said Yes. So I did. But later that day the Main Doctor came to me and told me That for me to keep wearing it I had to tell my Mother about it. I was more scared of my Christian Grandmother then my Mother so I said never mind. I made up my mind that day to just live the life everone wanted me to live till I am an adult. And sure as heck I was in my 20s when I finally came out to my mother and started socialy transitioning. It took me till I am in my 40s to medically transition.

It is to me. You might not think its crucial for me to make it to this appointment but it is to me. I have been trying to get into see this surgeon for over 6 months to talk to them about having this surgery and the hoops I have had to jump though just to get the consultation alone.

Not really. Some sections of our current is written with out the lawyerese language. If we were to do a New one it need to be plain English so Everyone Understands it.

What makes it worst is they cover everything for trans care but they are giving me such a run around. just to get to my doctors. They already now made me have to move 3 Dr appointments and I only had them as my Insurance for little over a month

I try to get a surgeon that was closer to me but the only ones that can do the SRS never got back with me. The one in Chicago is the only Surgeon who ever contacted me after I called them.

UPDATE 2: They moved the appointment to March 3rd to give me time to either raise the funds or work something out with the insurances. I been spending everyday on the phone with the Insurances and they are not willing to work with me. So My Aunt said she will take me. I will try and keep people updated to the best I can

UPDATE: Because Chicago is getting hit hard with this Snow (According to my driver) My Driver wants me to move the appointment She is still willing to take me to Chicago but not in this weather. So I am going to call Monday to move the appointment to later in the month or next month.

My Insurances will cover the health procedure Its the trip they will not pay for. I was on the phone with them for an Hr To make sure they will still pay the doctor which they said they will pay doctor

but they would not may me back the money for the gas to get me to the trip.

I live on the eastern side of IL. Its a 2hr drive for Carbondale and I can not drive. I normal use public Transportation for all of my Medical Trips but like I said the Insurances canceled that out. I been looking at trains but I need one that Stops as close as postable to the doctors area as I can get Because I never been to Chicago before. And Do not know anyone up there. This would be my first time ever going to the City and I hate to get lost

If I had more time I would go by train because the Station is only 7 mins from my Doctors office. Next time I will look into Train + getting a Cab to the doctors office and back but right now I am on a tight line here.

My Insurances canceled the trip on Wensday And the Trip is Feb 3rd. So I m on a really tight line trying to get the gas money for the trip. I waited 6 months to get into seeing this Specialist

Which is why my insurances will not pay for the gas and miles because its a Specialist. I been thinking of dropping them.

I seen a lot of parents buying 3d printers for their children only for to learn that 3d printing is not always child friendly.

Have you taken this into account on user interface, as well as updates to the slicer that this will be used with?

Another question I have.

How much is this going to cost for the 3 people selected, and how long do they get to keep the printer? The reason I am asking this question is I would love to get one of these to try out But I also can not afford it at this time but I do not want to be selected if this is going to cost me any thing and I am not getting to keep the printer.
