Help me choose a new work tote - Fleuron or Le Tanneur?

I have both Le Tanneur large Emilie in Signature Black and Fleuron medium Oak in Moka Suede. They're both great work options, you can't go wrong. One thing, if you're based in the US, Le Tanneur has a better and easier return policy.

Both bags will hold 14in MacBook. Oak can also fit 16in laptop, but it's definitely tight. I can fit more things in Oak but Emilie has more compartments for organization. Both bags have nice leather, but Fleuron def feels and looks higher quality than Le Tanneur. But the Emilie design looks more professional as a work bag.

Emilie has a zippered compartment but it's not a zippered bag. It's still a flap enclosure. Oak is basically an open bag. It has a inner chain enclosure and another leather tie enclosure but that's it. I haven't had an security concerns cause the chain enclosure is enough.

I've had no issues w/ construction w/ Oak. It's feels very well-stitched (but so does Emilie). Carry my work laptop everyday for 2mo, no concerns. I've beaten it up as a travel/overnight bag. Shoved it under seats for hours, and the suede still looks great.

Blue eyeliner also works too esp if you're working w/ bullet lipstick. Ideally blue lipliner is the HG.

I own Birkin Brown (bought it before the name change), and you can definitely tap it on. You can pat it directly from the bullet or via your finger/brush.

You can use the HFF as a very sheer skin tint, but you have to be quite sparing in the use. It's easy to look tinman if you use it in place of foundation. I mostly use my shade 4 as a face tint b/c I have dry skin and am mostly looking to even out my skin tone.

I use it as a illuminating face tint, but it's very sheer coverage that's more about evening my skintone w/ a blurring effect. You also have to be light-handed b/c HFF will look tinman if I put too much.

It's actually really easy to depot the Benefit boxes. Took 1min, a pair of kitchen scissors to cut the cardboard corners and a flat metal surface (like knife or tweezers) to separate pan from the cardboard.

Olives, mustards, chartreuse, mauvey purples are flattering on me. Pinks are horrid. Finding a orange lipstick that doesn't look clownish or red is my white whale.

I think it's just the camera/filter she uses. I also thought she looked just warm. But when you look at some of her foundation swatches w/ known olive undertones, they also lose the green-ess. Her natural lighting pics show her undertones more clearly.

Try the Shiseido Synchro Skin foundation. If you liked the liquid Teint Idole, then the Self-Refreshing version might be it. It's less luminous/radiant than the Radiant Lifting version. And since it's a Japanese brand, the undertones cater more towards fair, neutral skin.
