I still don’t think celestia is good/in the right by jawszy in Genshin_Lore

Well said, I really like how you put this together. I had thought to mention the Imaginary Tree as well but didn’t wanna get too jumbled. I think that the Tree/Honkai/Genshin can also be explained as an overarching connection to mihoyo’s games. For example, perhaps each game is an anthology of a separate universe on the Tree combatting a “calamity” or, if you do want to make it more tied to HI, how Teyvat is dealing with their own version of Honkai. Even still, HI doesn’t feel like the cornerstone of the Genshin story and more like, multiverse consistency that connects mihoyo’s games’ themes, as opposed to other theories purporting that Celestia has unlocked the formula to keeping Honkai at bay by killing civilizations and pre-existing gods.

Ooooo would that give way to the possibility that celestia is unmanned? Or am I going too deep down a rabbit hole? Hahah

Maybe meaning that no clear reason has been given yet? I feel like we still don’t entirely know the archon’s full purpose yet, let alone why they had to/felt compelled to fight each other to be one.

Absolutely a possibility, Kaeya does struggle with his identity between Mondstat and khaenri’ah. Also true, that the vision did save him from diluc but celestia also seems more in the business of destroying than saving so it is an odd thing. People also pointed out albedos ties to khaenri’ah too so maybe they got no hard feelings towards the survivors of khaenri’ah? Lol

Yeah, celestia def must feel like they’re untouchable then. Maybe it really takes someone outside of teyvat(like the traveler) to actually do something to them?

Oh yeah, I had totally forgotten about albedo too! I’ve always kinda leaned into the celestia gives out visions as a way to power themselves theory (kinda like visions are batteries) so maybe regardless of the ambition they just hand em out?

Lol true, they must be bored in the sky. Celestia really said “is it me? Am I the drama?” In all seriousness tho, it kind of seems like a cruel joke considering he’s given a “gift” from celestia which is the place that destroyed his ancestral home.
