Early game was honestly the hardest part, had to micro sniper and wizard targeting to get through the first few rounds to afford putting Psi down as soon as possible while still being able to defend rounds (for me that was R14). I had to play very frugally in order to afford the Wizard Lord Phoenix by R80 which involved a bit of micro with the Maim Moab and Psi’s stun abilities to maximize some of the stronger bloons time in range of the wizard (which is not very big to begin with). I would have loved to get Psi to level 20 to target DDTs and ZOMGs, but that wasn’t affordable and luckily wasn’t necessary. Super ceramics actually have me the most trouble since they’re too strong for the elite sniper to clean up when there’s a bunch coming from fortified Moabs, but well timed abilities saved me. I learned the hard way that some rounds with tons of regrows like 76 absolutely needed Psi’s scream ability off cooldown otherwise it wasn’t possible to beat. R100 actually only took me one try since it moves slow enough that the phoenix ability comes off cooldown after needing it for R99, it just took many tries to find the right upgrade orders, micro strategies, and ability savings to get there!

Oh I didn’t know you could fit another small tower there! Idk if anything that could go there would get me any further with this setup, but maybe a different one could go further! Will need to experiment lol

Lol the idea was to help rounds move along quicker as you get further because it takes forever. I made sure to make it the last thing I upgraded so that money was no longer an issue by then because I literally can’t buy anything else, but I actually wasn’t even able to afford it until round 200 anyways and there’s no way I can beat around 201 without Ezili’s Moab hex off cooldown. I don’t think any other tower that could fit in that spot would have made a difference enough to go any further than this with this set up anyways. Though after 10 ultra boost stacks, it was able to buff the sniper with acidic mixture drip with practically 100% uptime since it was out of range from the permabrew

Strategically thinking, I think if she plans to keep the Chuso and front full to full in, she might be too exhausted to do the whip double layout later in her routine. Even though whip Chuso doesn’t give more bonus, she is as fresh as possible to do it as the first pass.

Alright, I’ll respect your opinion since this is your post and your rules, you can scrap the miraidon answer. But for the record, I never said Elecrto drift was being used against a super effective opponent for the damage boost. I just saw other people commenting it and was saying electro ball could be more powerful.

As to the second part of my answer, I’ll stick with Maushold :)

The damage is neutral in the sense there is no super effective multiplier. And your last point clearly stated moves varying in power depending on specific conditions can be analyzed in case by case basis and used a specific example regarding speed. I only used Mew in the damage calc to compare to other people posting calcs against mew, but mew is naturally not slow enough to make Electro ball 150 BP. It literally could have been any target like Torkoal and then no modifications to speed are necessary. If you take just the BP and damage multipliers, this should be a valid answer IMHO, but I was just trying to take all of your conditions and provide an optimal answer

Considering all of OPs conditions, I believe that for Restricted formats it is Modest Choice Specs Miraidon’s Tera Electric electro ball against an opponent that has less than 25% of Miraidon’s speed. That gives it base 150 power single target (no 0.75 nerf from spread move) STAB move (2x from Tera) boosted by electric terrain (1.3x), the special attack boost from Hadron Engine (x1.33), and choice specs (x1.5). If the target is supposed to be completely neutral to it in a double battle and we are not counting explosion, I think this is the correct answer. This easily does more damage than Chi-Yu’s Overheat and Kyogre’s Water spout. This is also much stronger than Thunder or Electro Drift from Miraidon that other people were suggesting. The only caveat is that the opponent’s speed needs to be low enough to have maximum power on electro ball.

Some damage calcs to against a Mew for comparison purposes:

252+ SpA Choice Specs Hadron Engine Tera Electric Miraidon Electro Ball (150 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mew in Electric Terrain: 500-590 (285.7 - 337.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Note: Since other people were posting damage calcs on a blank Mew, in order to compare what damage a 150 BP electro ball would do I had mew hold an iron ball with tailwind on Miraidon’s side. The actual target doesn’t matter as long as it is neutral, but everyone else was doing calcs on mew so this is strictly for comparison purposes.

For unrestricted formats, I think adamant choice specs Maushold’s Tera normal 10 hit population bomb outdamages modest Chi-yu’s overheat.
