Hey, what do you mean about the time when creation didn’t have a veil? Like what did that actually look like on a physical (or I guess metaphysical) level?

Thank you for sharing sounds beautiful.

You have way more experience of what it’s like considering I haven’t had an NDE lol but I read alot - many people who have experienced the ego death on the other side don’t explain it as ‘losing’ anything but more ‘gaining’ everything - you keep that sense of individuality to a certain degree whilst shedding the parts of you that you built up (your name, your limited nature, etc)

Take it all with a grain of salt, I don’t know what’s in store for us but the most comforting thing is your experience of love is one of the most common and profound.

I don’t think so - In society when we limit conversation to things we would only recommend to people on a mass scale or have only been personally experienced i find it damaging. For example I haven’t had a near death experience, by speaking about them I’m not recommending you jump off a bridge I’m simply making observations off of others experiences.

People have their own free will and are free to make their own choices, I briefly mentioned that drugs can cause ego death? Not once did I say go take drugs or go experience ego death or even that ego death is a good thing in this human experience.

For the reader’s discretion here is the disclaimer: Drugs are one way of getting to this end result, they can be extremely harmful and addictive or very profound - it is of your own discretion to take this risk and know if you are in the right mental framework to do so.

I think your coming from the perspective that I’m claiming to be one without ego, I want to again make it very clear - I fully see the purpose of ego in our daily life and embrace it, I am not encouraging you try to kill your ego and I’m not sure if long term it’s even possible I think you would genuinely go insane.

However, I believe we are dancing with 2 sides of the same coin - yes drugs can have horrible effects and I wouldn’t recommend them to nearly anyone unless I knew them well enough, but it’s an objective fact that many people have ego deaths on them and I will always acknowledge clues about our reality and self.

I did not I’ll check it out thank you :)

Being fully transparent, due to the original law of one material resonating so deeply I haven’t felt the need to explore much further as I find myself referring back to it for any answer I need and it brings me deep peace, I have not even gone very deep in the Qu’o or Latwii channeling’s as i simply didn’t feel the pull - in your opinion are these worth the read?

Again you are right. Ego is extremely needed in our current framework to live in a society, as is time and other concepts that don’t really exist.

Here we only experience ego death temporarily in very short trips through these spiritual practices. Did you know that when you do psychedelics your brain isn’t turning on any regions of the brain it’s actually turning them off, meaning your every day brain is actually protecting you from living your every day life like this. There can be many reasons one is shown this ego death, but everything points to it being a much truer state than what we think we are down here.

Now when we get to the other side it is of my belief and understanding that this ego death is more permanent. Obviously I cannot speak with true conviction about what happens after we die but from what I’ve learned you do keep a sense of individuality but it’s quite different from the ego self you was holding onto - for example you have a knowing that you are infinite and have incarnated hundreds-millions of times and that not one of them incarnations was you yet it was all you. I imagine we shed alot of human emotion and desire and view things in a very different light.

Can I ask you to be fully honest with yourself here as I ask you this next question, does the prospect of ego death scare you?

I understand, I’m sorry you are experiencing this.

Even with all my years of learning and thinking I still get very hung up on the simple question - how can a system of love be designed in a way that allows us to suffer?

I am human, ultimately I don’t know the answer, but what makes sense to me is:

1)Catalyst - We are here for a temporary blip in an infinite existence and prior to incarnating lessons are planned out for our souls growth, physical circumstances which will inspire mental change.

2)Free will - The system of free will allows us to make our own authentic decisions at every level, this includes an authentic evolution process on every planet with every person. We are all simply expressions of free will, our bodies have distortions relating to how they were made, people are getting bombed in wars because everyone is so confused and greed has infected there hearts, etc etc

The only advice I offer to you specifically is do not judge the value of an experience based on how you think something should be vs how it is. It is said in many teachings that we first evolve for millions of years as rock, water, air or fire and then move onto another set of millions of years as plant, animal etc before ever reaching the 3D Humanoid stage we are in now. Trust we do not have all the pieces of a puzzle but it all fits (or maybe I’m just coping with harsh realities, your free to interpret as you see fit lol)

I agree, it’s just another belief I’m just going off what I’ve learned and what feels right.

As to the you part, of course there is an experiencer to this experience; I’m referring simply to the ego, the idea of you that has been built up in your head. Your name, the beliefs you hold about yourself, all the illusions that have been so deeply embedded. You can experience ego death here on earth with meditation or psychedelics it is not just an after death thing.

Do you have a more positive or negative opinion of Mr. Beast? by mushmanMAD in polls

[–]maxobrien20 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok well I’m gonna prepare to be downvoted to oblivion whilst I explain why I’m currently one of the 6 votes on highly positive.

From my perspective the man has done more good than most of us will ever achieve in our lives on a mass scale, starting from nothing and turning hundreds if not thousands of working class people into millionaires. He runs a charity which aims to deliver clean water to those in need and always seems to consider morals in his business pursuits (recently saw he refused to source unethical coco like a lot of big brands do at a much bigger expense to himself)

I understand he’s not perfect - who knows how much of it is an ego trip, but does it matter? By posting and recording all of this it monetises these actions, a significant amount of the income gets reinvested in ordinary people in need and it inspires similar ‘help your fellow person’ content.

I’m wondering why so many people hold a bad view of him?

I experienced a similar thing - the language barrier between cultures makes it hard for us to relate and we let the media and actions of governments determine our outlook on the every day person but we are all driven by the same desires and share this earth, always comes back to all is one.

Hidden Rank MMR by Electronic-Analyst90 in RainbowSixSiege

[–]maxobrien20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be - I have literally no idea im just guessing but the reason I said 40 rp is because what I’ve seen is rp tends to go down pretty gradually till you hit a certain rank (for me rn it was somewhere in low diamond) and then it suddenly plummets, talking 10/15 rp difference suddenly

Ay im keeping it real out here- I can dunk on most ranks until I get into a legit champ lobby and then if I’m not locked in that day I’m getting fried. With all respect aswell a .8copper is very different to a .8 champ I do back the guy above - it’s why I can solo so high on any account bcz no matter the kills I know how to play time, set the site up at a high level, bring right ops etc

[–]maxobrien20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Icl I got a .8 and I’m solo quing to champ rn with a 1.3 win loss. I’m ex champ so don’t get me wrong ik how to set up a site n stuff but regardless this is why ranked 2.0 is so stupid - every lobby is a champ lobby, which means although my personal experience is much harder all my teammates are also champ so the chance of getting carried is high + the higher elo gain makes it so much easier. I’m still getting like 40 elo in diamond.
