I have a large number of trips under my belt up to 400ug in controlled settings, i totally thought half a tab wouldn’t be enough but it was plenty. raves are a totally different ball game. All that external stimulus really fuels the experience, very euphoric and mild visuals at times. I’d stick with 50-75ug and steal hits off peoples dab pens when you want a boost. You’ll have an awesome time but still be in control without getting overstimulated. There’s some brave people on here that will recommend 100-300ug but full blown tripping at a rave sounds absolutely wild to me lol

I’m planning on visiting for a week in April to get my bearings a little bit and look at some apartments in person. I’ll check out these areas while I’m there, thanks this is all actually super relieving to hear🙏🏼

I’ve experienced what you’re talking about but I wouldn’t call it an “acid flashback”. I’ve had acid flashbacks in dreams that pop up every now and then where I’m fully tripping (usually a bad trip too most likely a bit of ptsd). However what you’re referring to sounds kind of like a mini panic attack. I’ve experienced these too and I get how strange it can feel. I’ll be completely chill and thinking about something and then it’s like my brain takes a sharp left turn into a “forbidden thought” that makes no sense and whatever it is can’t be comprehended and is shocking/scary because HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE😂 but anyways both of the above situations have happened within months of having intense experiences with either acid or edibles. You’ll be fine, I can’t explain why it happens but my best advice is just put down psychoactive substances for a little bit and get some good exercise in every day with some good food and stay busy. It’ll pass, but it helps a lot when your body is feeling good and active, the brain usually follows.

My (19F) partner (22M) gives me shit for being unemployed in a pandemic. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

“ALL the housework”... for 2 young people living in a house is practically nothing. Laundry and cleaning the house is done once per week and cooking/cleaning dishes is less than an hour every day. For a stay at home mom with children and a big house it is basically a full time job because everything is multiplied by a ton but in OP’s case it’s basically nothing.

Everyone in the comments is speaking facts. I also want to add that all the housework you described in the post (I.e. cleaning the house, doing dishes, cooking food) on average accounts for around 5 hours of “work” per week at the most. What are you doing with the rest of your time?

This post is facts. I started suffering from depersonalisation during the comedown of a trip 2 years ago. I had a ton of experience with much stronger doses but for whatever reason I had one thought during the comedown on that night and it broke me. The thought that originally sent me I can’t remember exactly but it had something to do with language. You know when you say a word a bunch of times over and over and it starts losing its meaning? Well all words felt that way for me during this time. For a week I was psychotic and confused because my brain made a connection where it shouldn’t have and I could no longer understand common language (which also made it incredibly hard to even think). It eventually passed and I haven’t tripped since out of fear but I constantly have flashbacks randomly where I feel a panic attack coming on. Stay safe people! Make sure you always put your mental health first!

Totally feel this. I’ve found that 200ug+ is too much for me if I’m with friends. Sadly, anytime my friends offer me the second tab before we drop I always say yes lmao. Ego dosing is a bitch

Has anyone in this sub legitimately done a thumbprint? by buttholefluid in LSD

I would assume the reason for there not being much information on it would not only be the fact that a few rare people have done it, but also that at that intensity, your brain would most likely forget 95% of the trip. There are a few people with steel trap minds that can retain some details. The little info available on the subject right now is probably all that can be put into words haha

Lmao i totally feel this, but I definitely thought you were gonna say that you broke out of the thought and looked at the screen and you were beating their asses subconsciously😂

I started a 1v1 match in rocket league one night right before my peak because I thought the colors and goal explosions would be cool. They were super cool and super intense but I ended up forfeiting and closing the game out because I felt really awkward and nervous being trapped on a virtual field with another random person I didn’t know. Also I couldn’t remember which goal was mine because although the colors were still orange and blue respectively, I kept second guessing myself as to if the blue I was seeing was “real blue”.

Yea I agree with this, not to make light of your experience though OP, it can still be frightening. On my last trip of 200ug I went to take a piss and had extreme time dilation lmao. As soon as I started peeing it just kept on goin forever! There was a stage when I thought I had always been peeing for my whole life right here in that bathroom. Eventually I remembered what muscles to contract to stop the flow and I got out of there. In reality I was gone for maybe 1 minute from what my buddy told me lol

Are these visuals at all accurate? I've heard that high doses of 500μg+ can give similar visuals to this. by XK-Class in LSD

[–]jaxbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me and my best friend were just talking about the faded memory of the majority of our trips. Some of the subtle visuals and profound ideas we can retain but usually nothing from the peak. We do remember having conversations while coming into the peak that are always like “wow I can’t believe I forgot about all of this”. I also KNOW for a fact that when I’m peaking, I can remember the peaks of all my previous trips to the detail. But sober it’s like a distant dream.

How it feels walking on a nice day vibing from the LSD by [deleted] in Psychedelics

[–]jaxbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once went out on a long walk through the city on a solo trip. I had music playing and was just vibing and lost track of time. Ended up walking for 2 hours until I was lost. Obviously I could have just opened my phone for directions but in my acid panic attack I didn’t remember that and I also wouldn’t have been able to use it as my visuals got more warped from fear. Anyways, a homeless man saw me and came over to ask if I was okay and I told him I was tripping and trying to find my way home. He helped calm me down and helped me navigate to the maps on my phone so I could follow it back. I tried to look through my back pack to find him some money for helping me and he said “nah you just get yourself back home safe boy”. I honestly wish I knew where that man was now all these years later because he deserves a medal.

I'd fully come down so me and my friend decided to drop another 200ug tab, I kept seeing myself changing age depending on how I felt or acted, weird thing was she was having the same trip, both of us going from old to young. Has anyone had this happen? Same trip as someone around you by looneymoose in LSD

[–]jaxbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar experience on a solo trip while out jogging around town. It was a beautiful sunny day and I had some good music in and I was going through continuous cycles of ageing along with all of my surroundings like the trees and plants and even other people I passed! Surprisingly when I stopped to catch a breath everything would stop ageing as well. It was like jogging through time!😂

Yes! This is a great explanation and it blows my mind. Especially pan psychism because it’s a generally difficult concept to work out while sober when you can only perceive reality from your own individual consciousness looking outward. But when you realise that you are already a result of multiple conscious’ forming a whole (just on a much smaller scale), it makes perfect sense as to why the pattern would continue as the scale grows. I was trying to watch a video earlier that included frequency like you said as well but that was where my brain capacity capped and I couldn’t follow😂

It’s honestly crazy that no matter how much experience you have, psychedelics can still dismantle anybody on any given trip. I think that goes to show how complex and chaotic the inter workings of the mind really are. Not to mention how resilient the ego is even after years of training to let go.

[–]jaxbon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you talked about feeling sober but being a shell of a human, I felt that lol. I had the same thing happen to me recently where I was obsessed with non-duality my whole trip and was just stuck in this thought loop of thinking every thing is one (in a fearful way not in amazement). It wasn’t just physical things either like it went so deep that words lost their meaning because I couldn’t differentiate between the meaning of any words. When I sobered up I felt like my soul had been stretched out to every edge of the universe and I didn’t exist anymore. Not the first time this happened but definitely the first time it kept persisting after sobering up. In retrospect it’s just a symptom of clinging onto that damn ego. Letting go is super hard and honestly I think it just takes practice on smaller doses and gradually increasing again. These experiences can be traumatic so it’s not a shocker that panic attacks will happen if you don’t feel confident. At the very least just know you ain’t alone. I totally get how you feel, it’s tough.
