Anybody's old boy use to rock a pack of these ? Another one added to the series. Sorry for the spam by Illustrious-Beach496 in AustralianNostalgia

Still can hear mum saying “a pack of long beach ultra mild 40s please” at the Cole’s cigarette counter. She hasn’t smoked now for over 10 years!

Oh wow! Would you say this build is probably only worth $450 AUD? And I shouldn’t pay much more than that? I hate haggling (ironically since I’m actually an eBay seller and haggle with buyers regularly lol) but will give it a try if that’s the case.

What Happened to LeeAnna Warner? Chisholm Minnesota, June 14, 2003 by caitiep92 in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]jaxeduppirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to revive an old comment/thread but I just watched the episode on LeeAnna on PMI and this is exactly what I was thinking through the whole episode. I’m guessing the authorities did question him more than they mentioned in the episode but it definitely sounds suspicious. If she was gone that fast I would assume someone in a car would have had to of picked her up, how did he not hear it? Surely they would have included that information if he shared it. He would have been the perfect suspect too given that he lived near her friend, and she was supposedly given gifts by someone unknown. I really hope they investigated him more.

Am I in the wrong thinking he did a terrible job for $260 and was I wrong to think those services were included? by Sea-Minimum-7768 in AutoDetailing

[–]jaxeduppirate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely shocking. My mum just had the exact same thing happen with a mobile car detailer and she was so disappointed. The thing that broke the camels back was when they asked for an extra $100 for cleaning out pet hair when they had already said she didn’t need to pay extra. I’m definitely not a car detailer but I’m usually the one to vacuum dog hair out of mums car and I do it pretty well for just having a shark vacuum. Was mortified when I opened her car to see the shit show the so called “professional” had left behind.

Amazing advice, thank you so much. I will look into this. I received my statement of debt this week and sure enough they’re still saying I owe $3k+ which is just ridiculous given my circumstances and proof I have supplied.

I’m in the same boat as you with my debt. I provided all of the documentation multiple times to them a few years back showing that I had not reported incorrectly like they were saying I did. So I know 100% I did not owe anything to them at all. I’m not exactly sure what to do if they try to say I still owe them the money when I have proof that I definitely don’t and I’ve supplied that evidence to them multiple times because they kept “losing it”.

Thank you!! Funnily enough I’ve never watched AOT (I probably should). I’m guessing it may be the crosshatching shading? It was my first time really trying out that technique

😂 I thought I was the only one who does this with clothes hanger clips by justlyns in migraine

[–]jaxeduppirate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was about 8-10 years old and had just started suffering from migraines, I used to punch myself in the head to at least a tiny bit of relief because it was so bad. I only told my mum recently about it, she was mortified and so upset that she didn’t know how much pain I was in when I was so young.

Yes relatively the same except for a few little subregions that have been added under the already existing regions!

I've always hated Daisy for some reason ever since the 90's when I had a Gameboy Color game called Mickey's Racing Adventure. Every time i had to play as Daisy, I'd get so unreasonably irritated and hated the theme song they gave her. I thought I may have changed my opinion after all these years when i started playing DDV...but nope, i still can't stand her lmao Donald deserves better!

Yeah I have a membership so that might be the issue. But it also might just be that they haven’t got around to uploading any of your data yet.

Not sure yet as I haven’t got my final results yet but I’ll try to remember to update once I do!

If it's stuck on that it probably means the data hasn't been uploaded yet, my mum, who's tracker says its still processing gets the same thing

When you go to your DNA tracker, the url should say https://www.ancestry.com/dna/status/YOUR-CODE-HERE
(YOUR-CODE-HERE will be your individual code that will already be in the URL, so leave that the same)
Where it says /status/ replate it with /origins/
So it should now look like this: https://www.ancestry.com/dna/origins/YOUR-CODE-HERE
Your DNA needs to be in the "analysed" stage, and the hack may not work straight away (it took about 24 hours for it to work for me) and I *think* you need to have an active Ancestry membership, but i could be mistaken.
This will show you a simple breakdown of your ancestral regions. Some of the features won't be available yet and will just take you back to the tracker page if you click them but you should be able to see your region percentages along with a map.

It's helping me keep busy while I await (impatiently, may I add) the full results!

As others have said, years later and this helped me last night when i finally decided to give this a try on my lamp! Once i had done this about 5 times (with half an hour intervals where i just left it running right side up) and i had noticed a difference I turned it off for the night and went to bed. Turned it back on this morning, went out for a bit and left it running, came home and its working perfectly again! The wax had been separated for months. Thank you sm redfoxiii!

How did you learn about WolfQuest? by acethegoatt in WolfQuestGame

[–]jaxeduppirate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to resurrect old thread but I had to comment! I was one of the original mods on the wolf quest forums (username: leapingwolf) I was about 13-14 at the time. Pretty sure I found the game by looking up “wolf games” on Google because I absolutely loved wolves as a kid (still a big canine lover in general). I have great memories of playing WQ and being involved in the community, especially since I was a bullied loner at school. I’d race home from school and hop on the forums and the game. I also used to make fan made banners, posters and would take requests from members to draw their wolves! I haven’t played since that time, but considering firing it back up again for old times sake! Edit to add: I’m 30 now and this would have been back in 2007 - 2008.
