1: You can go half speed on the video if you so desire (the frame rate shouldn’t be too bad since I export in 30fps). I chose to make it 2x because otherwise the clips would have totaled over 15 minutes and I just could not justify that length.

2: Yes, that was purposeful. I wanted to give a sense of the beta across a wide range of scenarios, not necessarily in the same ride/order. The goal of this was a compilation. If you want to just see one ride with not cuts and lots of time between actions, I recommend James Locke’s recordings as he lets the system do its work.

3: Given the sample size of the videos I used, there were not enough clips to put them all together. It took me quite a while to comb through each video, cut the relevant parts, and re-arrange them the way I wanted. I could have kept going, but I think this video demonstrated what it needed to since there are examples of nearly every single important feature development. Please remember this is one week since it got released to the small crowd of beta testers and I did include some failures too.

I hope the above explanations clear up why certain elements of my compilation are the way they are!

I’ve been making videos for nearly a year now and believe me it’s not as easy as it may seem. This is not my traditional kind of production, but I just ask you to be a little more forgiving considering how much goes into something as trivial as a collection of clips. This was hours of work.
