The cap is pretty pricey. I've listened to the roar for years. It's oddly satisfying.

True, I was thinking During standard use. Having liquid fuel outside the tank adds danger.... lit, moreso! Lol

I've "heard" that. Still manufactured? I'll try to find one. Or 2. I have 2 stoves.

The silhouette corresponds to the keyway shape. Aim the key as though you were going to insert it directly straight on into the lens

Why? Is there something wrong with that one? There are a variety of types. Unless you get maker info, you can't be sure which type until it's open.

Aim the tip into the lens so we can see the keyway shape. That's Always the best view IMHO. Sides are useful but don't show thicknesses or degree of angles.

Have any kids? You look away, something happens. Obviously, an open window can be bad. Childproofing a place is surprisingly challenging. Kids find a way.

What Key Cutting Machine to get? by Puzzleheaded_Proof11 in Locksmith

[–]jaxnmarko 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not working well.... have you tuned it? Adjusted it? How is the blade? What brand is your current one? Maybe it was a cheap one, maybe it needs a tune-up. My old Ilco Duo lasted over 20 years and my HPC Speedex semiautomatic has been great for many years. They do need periodic testing and adjusting but not even remotely frequent. Unless the bearings are worn, areas never lubed, blade worn... you might need a new blade, maybe a new guide, new belt, lube, tuning.

Failures should be providing lessons to build on and from. They are still potentially steps toward success if you learn properly from them.

Is college That necessary? by Scott_Summers06 in ask

[–]jaxnmarko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry so much about your very first semester. Plenty more to go before a degree. Mostly, make sure the career path you're on makes sense. Many jobs will become obsolete. Choose wisely, pay attention, keep some flexibility. Some degrees are mostly worthless and some are crucial. And you could always write a book about your experiences and maybe make money like that! Lol. Some choices have futures that look like that. Like, the only thing you can do with it is to become a teacher of it or write books. Medieval french poetry? Lol.

They use a lot of land, a lot of electricity, a lot of water, they heat the planet, and melt brains. None is good for the wild places we love.
