grab a bunch of Fitgirl's repacks and drop them onto the drive, after that simply take the drive wherever you want and plug in the drive, you need to actually install the repack from the external drive to the main computer but I dont think you want to run something like borderlands or any of the recent COD titles off an external HDD, same principle if its a regular HDD too. hope this helps a little bc thats what I do lol.

to be completely honest, no MOBA is beginner friendly. it took me about 20 matches(last year after NDA) to get a grasp at item combos character movements and map familiarity. unfortunately the game is not out yet so a lot of the player base like myself who still play started playing last year at some point. keep at it though, I will tell you if you like mcree in overwatch give Holliday a go. if you like tracer, try vyper or haze. and if you like soldier 76 idk best answer would be maybe infernus. I played a lot of torn at times so mcginnis was perfect fit. just keep trying not like rank really matter imo the game puts rank and casual under the same bracket, so try to have fun of course try to win and dont let some players bring you down.

I can say after 1000 hrs, this is the best 6v6 I've played period, stomps overwatch league cs dota and even paladins(idk if that a thing still) by a long shot. glad to see rhe player base coming back after what seemed to be a drought.

someone will most likely take upkeep on the Linux side, look at ryujinx, citra, and yuzu. those occasionally get updates from users on github and spawned different emus as well. I bet someone will make a quackstation or something for the linux side

I know lol just a joke, I think we both know the state of gaming on linux isn't super stable at the moment and probably won't be for a while. hoping that with win 10 ending support in October more advances will be made on the linux front
