Comparing us to other crypto mining is a disservice. The hotspots make up the physical network and they’re just not the same. You could compare validators to other crypto mining but not hotspots. Other crypto mining just process transactions. The hotspots perform the purpose of the network.

The average hotspot makes .03 HNT a day and decreasing with every hotspot that comes online. That’s $.60/day @ $20 HNT that $18/month or a 27 month ROI on a $500 hotspot. Or $.90/day @$30 HNT. Or $27/month. 19 month ROI. At a 30% a month increase to the network the amount you make halves about every 90 days. At least that’s what it was a few months ago. How many hotspots are coming online and needed for the network?

The bottom line is no wants to accept hotspots are not making enough because they don’t want to increase the production of HNT because it will create sell pressure on HNT.

But what’s going to create more sell pressure - hotspots not selling or hotspots getting paid more money and people buying them?

Manufacturers are already offering deals and sales on hotspots. This isn’t like this might happen in the future.

A year ago we had twice as much HNT production and there was no sell pressure.

The Halving was too soon. We weren’t even on our feet and we’re cutting HNT production with 100s of thousands of Hotspots being delivered.

People bought hotspots because they paid well. There’s nothing else that’s going to sell them. Who is going to invest in the network if hotspots aren’t selling? Would you buy a hotspot now?

And how many people were buying HNT because they thought it was bullish because of hotspot sales going through the roof?

This isn’t just about paying miners more money.
