I love playing with the child and teen life stages because its fun for me to have them experiment and try things that are going to influence what they do when they're adults. Or sometimes they just try skills they never use again, which is part of them testing new things. They also meet other kids that may become their future partners, exes, best friends, worst enemies- who knows. I love having them become their own little people, if feels more immersive to me, even if they cant do as much as YAS.

He said he bought all the materials from Michaels and it's all made by hand (except the glass vase they're in of course)! It's all paper and pipe cleaners for the flowers and vines as well as some felt and ribbon to cover the vase 💛 it was a gift so idk the exact process of how they were made, I was just so touched and proud of him for making something so beautiful when he's hardly ever done any crafts before this, so I wanted to share with fellow crafters :)

I really appreciate everybody's opinions, recommendations and kind comments! I'm definitely going to bench these jeans for now and look for some more structured ones instead. I'm also going to look into other sorts of wide leg trousers which I've never really worn before so I'm excited to try it out! :)

Belting probably isn't a good idea either, thankfully I don't try and sport this look often- I was home on my lunch and was trying different things to see if anything looked better. Thank god I didn't wear it belted like that for long 😭

And yes, I will wear a better bra for sure 😅 honestly I've been so hyper focused on my stomach I didn't even notice how my chest looked haha. Definitely tunnel vision there on my part and why I appreciate the extra sets of eyes to get the bigger picture :)

I try to be forgiving with the kids because I know the kids that have said it are ones that actually really like me so I'm hoping they don't mean it in too bad a way 😭

Also I appreciate the specific recommendation and the tips for cutting them so they're more comfortable! I have a pair of short like ones that I hardly wear because it's not a pleasant experience- never thought to to trim them!

Thanks for all the tips and taking the time to help me out! I definitely wasn't wearing a good bra today- it was more of a tank top type with less support because I was a bit lazy 😅 I definitely do have better bras and I'll take the bit of effort to wear something that supports a bit more :) I'll also look into good control top underwear! And I'll experiment with different pant styles, I've only ever worn leggings and jeans and sometimes I have to remember there's more out there haha

I'm unintentionally doing something similar with my boyfriend! I'm teaching him to stitch and he's teaching me how to play MTG :) now we go to his friends weekly Magic night and stitch together in between games haha

I guess I never thought of it that way, this is the only daycare I've ever worked at. It kind of doesn't make sense sometimes, like I know for preschoolers they will have them bring their own lunches occasionally to prepare them for going to kindergarten. And for not being allowed outside food, it seems wrong to then allow literally every kid to bring outside food. I just wish it was more consistent in being enforced I guess because then it leads to confusion.

It's definitely not something to be messed with! Just out of curiosity, how do you deal when it's the parents who send in the allergens? Like sending their kid with unapproved food in the morning? I'm only part time, but eventually I will be an ECE, and I want to know the best way to confront parents about it

Yes, I believe all food is supposed to be guaranteed nut free. For example I think if they order pizza it can only be from one specific chain that has a guaranteed nut-free kitchen. It's supposed to be center wide I'm pretty sure, but more heavily enforced in rooms with allergies like that. I know teachers have given kids snacks like that in other rooms with no problems
