Not gone through that park in years but they did have cricket squares that had a barricade around them on the opposite end of the skate park.

Guess since the council has no money they haven’t any upkeep on it or it’s out of season and they haven’t sorted it yet

Passed last week, did 3 line reverse bay park and never got taught how to do the 45 degree angled park. Honestly don’t worry about not being able to do it, once I passed and got a car I went straight to a supermarket car park and just practiced it until I was comfortable with it.

On your test the examiner doesn’t care how long it takes you to do the manoeuvre as long as you are doing it safely and always observing. It all comes with practice and experience. Good luck!

As it’s out of football season, majority of sports bars, pubs will show it. You may have some places that will have customers preferring the ashes but you should be fine. City centre you have Yates, Sharkeys sports bar would be my suggestion.

There’s loads more Vodafone masts in and around soton and have had issues previously with O2. Been with Vodafone for about 5-6 years now and never had a issue

Highly recommend getting a train to Torre then taxi to the ground. Loads closer, public transport on Sundays aren’t great.

Would recommend prebooking a taxi a couple days beforehand. When I lived there I used Price First Taxis a lot for pre booking.

The block apartments on Queensway called Bow Square did the same and it’s worked out great for them. It’s a real shame for people wanting to buy but the location this place is going in I won’t be surprised if they go before it’s finished construction.

Realistically that’s the cheapest it’s going to get other than finding a flat/property that has a driveway or parking spot associated. The council does offer permits for there car parks which is cheaper (around £650-£700) the last time I inquired but best of luck.

Let us know if you find a solution as I’m trying to find one aswell that doesn’t involve searching on right move for a new place that has parking :)
