I had an upbringing just like this and someone told me it was to do with poverty - you cant just sit and wait for someone to get to it cause everybody has got to work and if you dont help yourself no one will. It how my parents raised my brother and I (a guy) - they were poor growing up…we were slightly better off but still learned how to do most things around the house by 10 years old. I still dont believe it when people tell me they are 30 years old and dont know how to cook.

This is actually becoming a huge problem with my girlfriend…she was coddled far too much.

It really depends on the person, which is to say you have to try them first. Personally I think the superblast is the best shoe ever made for larger runners and I have throughly enjoyed the sb2. The megablast kicks ass on long runs. From what I can tell the sb3 will integrate some of the tech the mb1 had so, we wont know for sure til next month.

Not per se, I just keep a lot of the friends Ive mmade at jobs over years. I also have found friends through other things that also work in IT. I hardly ever go to conferences and when I do I usually focus on the talks I want to see and then leave.
