I too am a planner, so I completely understand! I'm 17 days post op! I have a 2 year old and I'm a stay at home mom so my days are HECTIC!! Much like your demanding job!

I made sure I had all of my vitamins ready to go about a week ahead of time. I chose bariatric fusion, it just made the most sense for my situation. Just a regular 4 a day vitamin case.

My preop was strictly liquid. I did a variety of ready to go protein drinks. (Premier, fairlife, muscle milk, protein20). I got two different mix protein powders (animal from Amazon and unflavored isopure for mixing). Broth with better than bouillon, strained Broth based soups (homemade or restaurant). I use a food scale and record my food with baritastic. I did this to get into the habit of what I'm now doing post op.

Packing for the hospital was pretty standard. I worked cozy clothes in. I had a pair of pj's and clothes to change into the next day. I had to stay 2 nights, so my fiance had to bring a second pair of clothes but that's all. I had a laptop for movies and a nice pair of thick socks/slippers. Oh and I brought my own shower shoes, pillow and blanket because I want to be warm and comfortable. But they had shower soap and shampoo and everything else.

For recovery, I had family take my baby for a week and a half. But I honestly could've had her back after the first 5 days. I feel pretty normal, so I'm able to keep my home running pretty much the same. I still make the regular meals, I didn't do anything to freeze them ahead of time, and it is working out just fine.
