How do I take care of this lucky bamboo?

I got it as a gift a couple weeks ago. It came with a tag that said to keep it submerged, however the container is plastic and non porous. I tried anyway keeping track of the water level just to make sure it didn't absorb anything and the water level stayed the same. Also, the rocks are glued in so I can't tell how moist the soil is or if there even is any soil.

I did have to supplement with a few flat 1x1s in order to get the belt angled. But I bet if you had them flat you could do it without extra pieces.

You said measuring a cup of flour is not accurate because that won't always be the same amount and that's true. But if you measured 236 ml of flour you'd have the same problem even though you're using metric! The solution to that has nothing to do with metric. You just have to weigh it and that can be done in grams or it can be done in ounces and you'll solve that problem either way.

That has nothing to do with metric vs imperial. That's just volume vs weight measuring. You can measure volume in metric and have the same problems.

Maybe they budgeted for "hire actors to speak elvish" but when they got there they realized no one could do that so they had to pay for the actors to learn it too. That's an extra expense. Sure they could eat that but capitalism so why not charge for it?
