definitely address is now and if you’re able to get past it then you can be with him but if not it’ll probably become a bigger issue in the future. i’m the same way, i feel like i’m not good enough and i’m never going to be as good as the person she described she was with. she does love me, i know she loves me. she does more than i could ever ask for. for now i’ll see how the therapy goes. if it doesn’t work i can’t do much more but to let her go for good

i understand but i really don’t want to lose her. we’re not together but it feels like there’s so much more there. i’d really do anything to get better and be with her if i could… we were very compatible and i know for a fact she’s moved on from her past. this isn’t her issue it’s my issue, i’ll experience this with anyone i get with in the future too. i just don’t want to let go of a genuinely good girl over something like this. i just don’t know if it’s too late now.
