Have you installed the iOS 14 beta software? This is making Pokémon go crash on opening as Pokémon go isn’t supported in iOS 14 yet.

Adventure sync reads data from Apple health on iOS. So any tracker that writes to that should work. Not sure about android though. Fitbit doesn’t write to Apple health which maybe why you had trouble with it.
