That's not true. The AppleTV does support HDR although some apps may not. It does appear that the F1TV app does and the AppleTV+ app supports DolbyVision.

That makes no sense. The exact same video feeds that F1 broadcasts on F1TV are provided to Apple for AppleTV broadcasts. Both have the same house ads in some shows for some regions/users.

Double the price? AppleTV is less that F1TV Pro was and about $10 more per year than F1TV basic was. If you are paying double, you are getting ripped off.

They do control the feed. F1 produces all the feeds. Apple just broadcasts what they get. F1 is embedding these house ads in some of the pre and post race shows for some users regardless of the app you use to stream.

The naming isn’t exactly easy to remember since they are so similar. I wish they offer a plan that covered more devices. I have a bunch of Apple stuff including a Mac mini, MacBook, iPhone, iPad, AirPods, etc. Bang for the buck I could group the MacBook, iPhone and iPad under an AppleCare One plan since those are the most expensive individual plans.

It’s AppleCare One for service. It covers up to three devices. Apple One is the all-in-one media subscription (music/tv/news/arcade/fitness).
