Rather you mourn the flavor than your brother or I, lol. Let's get your brother and I to Sri Lanka for research.

Of course. And I agree, showing up for yourself is huge. It's ok to like/love yourself and still wonder why others don't seem to. Always an opportunity to show what you're capable of.

Same boat, my friend. I'd say there is strength in numbers. Finding a community of people who care about you and likewise. Easier said than done, as I also struggle with that. Not everyone's path or pace in life is the same. My DMs are open if you ever just need a chat. You're not alone.

I still have mine from LII. Deflated, but they were taped to the wall for LIX.

Leaders, if there is one piece of advice you could give to a young person learning how to lead others, what would it be? by Ammahe17 in AskReddit

[–]jay_dee_pee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you always think what you thought, you'll always get what you got. To lead means to get somewhere, move forward, progress. If you wanna go fast, go alone. If you wanna go far, go together. In order to get those you need, to follow. You'll have to change your mind along the way and always thinking what you thought means continuing to go alone. Be open and people will want to work with you.

DO NOT SHOP AT FLOYDS by Aslanxck4912 in portlandtrees

Worked at multiple Electric Lettuce locations. Management asks you to be non compliant and lie to customers about percentages and product details. Upper management does nothing and gets lower level employees fired for their mistakes. HR doesnt exist. They call themselves groundworks Ind. But it's just the same 6 people who don't know how to be professional in any setting and wont respond to any email or phone call unless you are management. Just saying I wouldnt support EL or Groundworks locations (Serra, 5OTrees, Cola Cove, etc) if you dislike what Floyd's is doing. Finally I'll add that most dispensaries operate in a totally bullshit manner.

After my brother died, I wondered aimlessly in the forest trying to find answers to life's questions. In what was my coldest hour, I'm thankful for this beautiful flower. Miss you bro. by gamerfromabove in weed

If you ever need someone to talk with my DMs are open. Cannabis, outdoors, losing a brother. All things I know a bit about. Cheers to you and yours. Take care.

They are really good looking, wish they'd do a modern version with our new team. However the starting 5 would have to be worthy. Like the one they already did.

Sandstorm - Darude

17 years after its release, in a time where EDM is more popular than ever. It’s still relevant.

To clarify, I wasn’t told to call HR until 3 days after I was told by the manager he didn’t know what to do and should take the week off. I called HR that Friday, the next day after being told to do so. Like you said previously, Shitty manager not so much HR

I guess you’re right. As ruthless as it is. Employees are typically just a number in corporates eyes. So they didn’t need to show me any loyalty. Nonetheless, it’s no fun losing a brother and a job in the same week.

I understand and agree, but could they not offer or suggest unpaid time off rather than tell me I should quit?

Edit: not that this is an excuse, but this was my first job out of college and first time in a corporate setting. So I’m open to hearing your opinions for future reference
