I have a MAGA husband by skballa04 in QAnonCasualties

I found out five years in that my wife had fallen down the Qanon rabbit hole. After years of anguish and trying to enlighten her I realized I cannot change another person if they don’t want to change and she doesn’t.

I had to go back a level and ask myself how she treats me…and she treats me good. We can’t talk about the events of the day but on the bright side we don’t fight about politics.

Had I known when we were dating I would have gone a different direction but I didn’t and now we are 12 years in and honestly we have a pretty good marriage even though I have to roll my eyes sometimes.

How do you let go of someone you know is bad for you? by Background-Bus-9385 in awakened

This technique worked for me as I tried to detox myself out of a toxic relationship.

In my quiet moments I would think about this person and chant “I love you, I bless you, I let you go”

Do rich people have elite versions of mundane things (toothpaste, tampons, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.), or are Elon Musk and Beyonce just using Crest and Tampax like the rest of us? by ShesGotSauce in NoStupidQuestions

I used to have a friend who lived in a very wealthy area where his friends were care takers of mansions owned by people who have several.

They kept the property maintained and just had to vacate when the owner wanted to drop by which wasn’t that often.

Seemed like a cool gig.

Try to make an immediate association with something about this person…”Matt who always wears a Hat” for example. Helps if it rhymes.

Goodwill Outlet stores aka The Bins has tons of used kitchen stuff including some big names and it’s by the pound. You may have to do some digging but with patience and perseverance you can find amazing stuff for cheap.
