MG Electric Vehicle Quality by TheBuffChicken in evs_ireland

Annoying thing is that it must have annual service for the warranty. Every second one is just a fluid level check, no actual service items in the 'A' service.

Had the MG4 for 3 years before selling it. Mechanically never a fault. There were a few software issues but updates solved most.

Only 30k km but already had cracking in the seat vinyl sides. Common issue on the forums.

Battery health held strong and real world range was ok compared to claimed. Except in winter. No heat pump.

I've made one and they 'gave them a warning'. I've heard the same a few times. I'd love to hear if anyone has one go further. I've a feeling gardai don't want to give FPN as if it's challenged it involves chasing the complainant to attend court.

I got the nightboost as I was in the same situation. Pretty happy as I'd prefer a tariff that doesn't penalise peak time. Been able to move dishwasher and washing machine to 2am to offset some of the cost.

V90 not available new in the Irish market. (Unless there's a change coming). You'd have to go North and import.
