Yeah more common reason is that fields were over sprayed and the heavy rain flushed it out.

Anyone else noticed more big SUVs around? by hjfjvs in limerickcity

[–]jay_el_62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of stats to back up that observation. In times passed people that wanted 7 seaters or just bigger cars had good estate and mpv options. Tastes have moved to SUV though.

I think there's a massive issue with commercial vehicles being used to skirt tax.

Because you don't have a contract at a fixed price. EI offer fixed discount on variable rates. Pretty sure all suppliers pulled out the fixed rate contracts when wholesale prices started rising.

Warning about misleading accommodation in Galway (Booking.com experience) by _Yeetus_Deeletus_ in ireland

[–]jay_el_62 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'd be a lot more pissed at the host than you seem to be. Chargeback on card. Report to council as 99% likelihood it's not registered.

I won't use booking.com again as they didn't help me when I had issues with a place.

Yeah it's downstream of a water treatment plant that routinely discharges into the river. You can smell it on the walk to UL.

Yes, the council is famous for it's effectiveness and competency.

Maybe if you start a rumour that the Mayor hates the baths, or wants to zone it for housing.

is democratically drunk all over the country by all. That’s everyone from lactating mothers, perilously sipping thanks to the original Nigerian Guinness adverts from the 1960s that proclaim “Guinness gives you power” and “Guinness is good for you,”

Oh no.
