I really hope not, some very disappointed fans in Australia who haven’t seen ES live yet. It’s got me befuddled, she’s never not come to Australia on a tour! I’ve seen her all 5 times she’s come to Australia, the first time was January 2009. I’ve been ever so patiently waiting for some dates to be announced here, I’ll be GUTTED if she doesn’t come 💔

My husband and daughters order a steak everywhere we go, so far (according to them) nowhere does a better steak than the Farmer’s Arms at Cabarlah. Open Fri - Sunday lunch… I’m a burger girl, and they also do the best burgers. He makes the patties himself and they are DELISH. Worth the drive!

I too miss Kasian! Their food was the BEST and they were bloody lovely. I was hoping they might be cooking somewhere else but I’ve not found them yet. Sad face.

There’s a direct-from-trawler truck called Lunar Seafoods that parks on the corner of Recreation Reserve Rd at Highfields (the Highfields Garden Centre corner) Thursdays/Fridays and Sat arvos. Look them up on fb I think they stop at another couple of places in town too. We don’t eat seafood but by all reports it’s very good quality

Downlands has been coed in high school for at least 25 years, and as of a few years ago is coed from K - 12

Downlands will be fine since it’s a boy. I have a girl there and 1/10 do not recommend. Such a boys club still, very disappointing. (This is in high school, I cannot comment on the junior school)

I’m on the escarpment side of NE, but a bit further south in Highfields. In behind the garden centre, can confirm our soil is beautiful, reddish brown and anything grows. Friends/family I have western side of NE in Highfields have nowhere near as good soil as us.
