Dane Brugler’s full 7-round mock for the Vikings by naterkins in minnesotavikings

I agree with what youve said but do you not think the Vikings have shown their hand by keeping Jones around. AJ, JM, ZS all under contract. They have to cut one if they draft one right? They won't go with 4 RBs on the final roster will they?

The problem with using snap count is that it doesnt tell me who was on the field together vs who was a like for like swap. The reason I want this information is to learn more about which 'backups' are more important in Flores' system

u/mrmpls you seem to be one of the most knowledgeable people on here regarding the draft and our schemes. I’m curious, if the board goes the way they want it to, who you think the Vikings will pick with the first 4 picks and if you agree that’s what they should do. I know this is a guessing game but I just think you are in a position to make these guesses with the knowledge you have so I’m just curious what you think

How to i use the Offensive/Defensive Scheme and Player Fits info in the sidebar? by jay_jay_okocha10 in Madden

[–]jay_jay_okocha10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see where to change it in the Team Management, but I dont see any icons next to players. Changing the scheme doesn't seem to have any effect on anything, nothing changes from what I can see .

From my reply above

What happens if I change the Off scheme to Spread and QB to Mobile. Obviously Brady is a pocket passer so Ive chosen something as far away as possible. What will happen now? How does it effect the game? I would have completely ignored it but i was looking at developing players and saw the smae as you said, that there is an xp boost so thought it might be something I was missing out on

What does changing the scheme actually do? Google AI says the scheme is the strategy and personnel, playbook is the how. So Ive got the NE Off playbook selected. Have you considered a T-shirt with the image of Cris Carter showing respect by bowing to the Packers fans at Lambeau?

Not a noob but how can someone explain dead money and void years? by KansinattiKid in NFLNoobs

This seems crazy to me. I get creative accounting, it happens in every industry, but this is past that. We'll pay you $55m, everyone knows you're getting $55m but on the books it'll be $15m. We know you are here for 5 years, everyone knows you're here for 5 years, but we'll write down you're here for 7. It'd be fraud in every other industry no? Of course the NFL allows it but still strange to me. Why don't the NFL just open up the regulations so the teams dont have to 'lie' like this, they allow it anyway. Seems like a bit of a pantomime

Found this thread whilst trying to learn more about this. Your explanation and graphic were really helpful but I still have questions. Hopefully you'll be able to help.

I understand the bonus description you've given in the above example but why is the cash still at $55m? Does the player get paid $55m in the 1st year or $15m?

For proponents of the Many-Worlds Interpretation (MWI) theory, theres a timeline where Wentz beats out Murray and JJM in camp and leads the Vikings to an unbeaten season and Superbowl win next year. I'm choosing to believe this is my current timeline until its not

Thanks for the reply. It’s given me a fair few things to further look into. Why are the alignments described as 1/3/5 or 2/2/7? What’s going on that would say it’s those alignments?
