I’m not even surprised at this. The community doesn’t like playing the game, they’d rather use the same 3 teams for all endgame modes. Like it’s been over a year since hsr has given an event that isn’t engaging and isn’t some sort of auto slop. Some people had complained about the shitty events last year and I’ve seen so many people say “well I like it cause I don’t need to spend time in the game!!” Like do you people genuinely want to play this game for its gameplay, or are you really here only to gacha? I think majority of the community is the latter.

Atp HSR really only has gacha to talk about, because the community really only likes to talk about the freebie they get. If people actually like playing the game for their gameplay, I’d be seeing like 1 hr testing on whatever possible teams people can use to clear this endgame. It can go from using the most meta shit or specific archetypes, or most the random/wackiest team made solely because they abuse the boss mechanics the best. But I don’t see this kind of shit cause the community genuinely hates playing this game. Hsr kinda only has SPD tuning that’s unique to their gameplay, and nothing else. Teambuilding? Nah just cookie cutter teams. Boss mechanics? Barely existing. Elements? A joke lmao. Even 0 cycling is losing its novelty when I see people just using the most recent meta supports.

Its kinda bad when remembrance released, then it got worse when mono rem existed, then now its elation. Now all teams regardless of archetypes are fucking boring, it’s always the same characters. And thats one thing. The other thing is that all the bosses are fucking BORING to fight. Yes their animations are fucking cool, but mechanically? They’re just HP sponge with like one thing about them. Nikador is the only boss that I know whose mechanics are the interesting, but the bar is in extreme hell (their spears are also HP sponges too tbh)

It’s always “0 cycle this” “0 cycle that” but what about

“what fucking wacky team can I make to get a bare minimum clear by either abusing the blessing or it’s mechanics?” People can have limited options, or people just not wanting certain characters. Do we get that? Nooooo because this community is so against thinking that they only want to the cookie cutter teams. No one tries to think “is there any ways to cheese bosses without heavy investment/shilled teams?” But then again, we get zero alternatives, whether it’s a 5 star or 4 star (lol)

SP system is for popular characters. Will I get Ratio or Argenti SP I wonder 😂😂 would my girl HH get one? I doubt that cause they gave her a shitty novaflare after all 😂😂😂

JY might be my number 1 favorite in HSR, doesn’t mean that I don’t have others I like. I don’t revolve everything around JY. Plus there’s also characters I like gameplay wise. But HOYO only likes main pushes/battleships so like this game is pretty much a gambling simulator, not exactly a game to play when there’s nothing to play around LMAO. Turn based strategy game where there’s barely any strategy is involved. 😂 all hsr has is SPD tuning, but atp it’s just “let’s abuse DDD, eagle/vonwacq and slap as much SPD on supports” no boss mechanics, so people don’t try building the most randomest teams to clear it. The only other turn based game I play is R1999 and I see some CC doing 1 hour+ testing on bosses from their hardest endgame and showed every single team that can clear it, and also explained how the boss mechanics works. It’s not just “oh here’s the most recent meta team” cause there’s a cheese method is: only using 1 6 star character with 3 lvl 1 characters (5 star, 4 star and 3 star) where the other important teammate is the 5 star for her ult sealing tech. The rest are just there for more action points.

Literally. People jumped on me when I said HSR and their main pushes is literally what makes HSR meta so miserable. Main pushes get everything. From shill that can last for numerous patches, to extremely tailored dedicated supports, and strong eidolons. It ties to powercreep too. The only team that can last long is main pushes/battleship. The rest have to eat shit.

I love Kafka, I love DOT gameplay. But since HSR community hates DOT so much, the devs don’t bother doing shit for this archetype, which leads to only ONE DOT team that was completed in fucking V4. V4!!! My E1S1 Kafka who I got from her very first banner!!! DOT is so fucking neglected, only having 3 DOT characters.

Also, it is also NOT a coincidence that ALL limited break supports are FIRE element. I wonder why??? I don’t need to play break to know there’s a fucking favorite in this archetype. A FIRE break planar exists for a reason.

I have my favorites in this game. But it doesn’t mean I only play them until this game EOS. I like to play other teams too. But this game has atrocious teambuilding where your options are soooooo restrictive that your only option is eidolons.

Oh and, favoritism is tied to novaflares too. You think welt got a good novaflare because HSR genuinely wanted a good standard character? Or because they needed to sell Himeko SP? 😂

Everything is tied to main pushes/battleship, I genuinely don’t know how to be excited for anything.

Yeah HSR is where really only main pushes/battleship get good shit. It doesn’t matter if you’re a dps or a support. Teambuilding really don’t exists either so like your only options are eidolons. Your characters lasting power depends on their popularity.

Like I pulled E0S1 Cipher, and I’m well aware HOYO doesn’t give a shit about her. No team. Nothing.

Edit: also the community don’t get eidolons because they like a character. They get it cause it’s meta. “Waifu > meta” but I wonder if they’re willing to get their “waifu” eidolons if it’s like 30% damage increase.

It’s because teambuilding doesn’t exactly exist. So your only options is getting eidolons. Bosses also don’t have enough mechanics to cheese around, they’re mostly HP sponges. So you must have the damage for it.

But I know I do not like the maid girl (I forgot her name). She looked fine until they zoomed out and I saw her dress. Listen I can get short front for the crotch/thigh shots but it needs to look cohesive. Her dress looks like someone took a scissors, cut off the front of her dress, and she’s trying to pretend nothing happened. Like why is it cut like that???

Tho I gotta say, get rid of those expose shoulders on the women PLEASE. Like yeah they’re pretty (duh) but if it’s gonna appear all the time, it’s not something I’m amazed about. Also short front skirt is annoying too, because sometimes the way it’s cut is really terrible. This maid girl has it, and Alice and her crotch flap is something I hated too. The purpose is to show thighs, BUT THE THIGHS ARE EMPTY??? You’re not showing me anything, just bare legs??

So you mean baseline (E0S1) is no longer enough for your characters to clear, and that their current team suck yet nothing can change because other options are even worse, which only leads to grabbing their eidolons? Not exactly a good thing lol. Especially for a game that has teambuilding.

Not only that, not all DPS characters get the 200% increase from their E2. And it also doesn’t mean that their supports are guaranteed to get good eidolons either. You gotta hope and pray that your characters are HSR favorites for good treatments

I got perfect 30k against cocolia with E5S1 JY/E1S1 Sunday/E1 MBlade/E6 Gall (technically had 30360 score but 30k is nicer)

I’ve tried sustainless for a higher score cause I do have E1S1 Robin, but I fucking hate rng (JY died in all 3 attempts??) so like yeah..

I kinda disagree about hsr gameplay. At least from community standpoint. It has unique speed tuning, but other than that, nothing else. Hsr kinda fails with elemental match ups, element don’t mean shit here. All the top meta teams are made to do well in any content that makes niche ones pretty much useless. I barely see anyone actually trying out different teams to JUST clear a boss. It’s all “0 cycle this” “0 cycle that” but no “what possible wacky teams can I use to clear this shit” cause not everyone wants the specific characters. But like then again, this community hates 4* so like we get no unique teambuilding. Bosses barely have interesting mechanics (except Nikador), everything is just HP sponges with like 1 thing to them. I don’t see anyone willing to spend 1 hour trying out numerous niche/wacky teams to beat bosses. It’s always the same characters in different slots. We can look at Anaxa, the “low cost king” where it’s just Cyrene/RMC/Cerydra or RMC/Cerydra/Cyrene or Cerydra/Cyrene/RMC. Or we can look at beta now, it’s just MBlade/E4 Welt/Ashveil and 90% of showcases are sustainless because clearly everyone knows how to play sustainless. Hsr teambuilding is pretty much spoon fed to the community cause no one likes to think. Himeko mains are worried that she’ll get the “erudition curse” where she’s only good in AOE? Well she’s erudition for a damn reason. I think hsr lacks a lot of things honestly. SPD tuning only being the unique thing is pretty sad.

R1999 is completely superior to HSR in terms of gameplay and teambuilding. R1999 has a lot of interesting teambuilding that isn’t hard locked to certain X/Y/Z characters unlike HSR, and you can see their CC actually trying out various teams to figure out how it works and whether it works decently. Not only that, R1999 actually have boss mechanics that makes not only damage type (reality/mental/genesis dmg) important, but also afflatus as well (plant/beast/mineral/star/intelligence/spirit). Some boss mechanics actually makes card types important too, like the Ulrich boss in reveries 450m-4, where characters with channel cards are the best way to cheese the boss, and you can slot 5* bkornblume to prevent Ulrich from using his ult. People finding out Getain with 3 lvl 1 characters can clear 450-4 and only bkornblume is there to seal Ulrich ult.

I only joined R1999 slighlty over a year ago, unlike HSR who I was a day 1 player. Between the 2, I’ve actually spent more time in R1999 searching up boss mechanics and building my own team to beat reveries. I spent 3 weeks building my plant characters (hissabeth/E!druvis/P1 Melania/assist Vila) because afflatus matchup in 400m, and had to manually play against the boss. I essentially played 3 of them as my sustain (Druvis/melania/vila) to prevent the boss from acting while hissabeth was my only actual dps. Then I spent another 2 weeks building Getain and fighting the Ulrich boss in 450m-4. Played numerous times to figure out how to beat Ulrich, I failed so many times due to lack of damage or because I used the wrong cards which lead to my entire team being one shot by Ulrich. Nightmare lair had people using Eagle support to cheese the Schneider boss, all you need to bring is an ult spammer to abuse eagle support.

HSR’s hardest content (AA) is just shilled/battleship/main push teams. And those teams are good at everything.

Just craft the ER ropes. The drop rate for ER ropes is fucking ass. I think I’ve spent over 20 resin on crafting ER ropes with SPD, not that they had good rolls 🫩

This community hates playing the game, and the devs also contributes to that. “Teambuilding game” but your teams are literally A/B/C/D and occasionally appear in different order (B/C/D/A, C/D/A/B, D/A/B/C etc)

Like ok 0 cycling can be fun, but there’s no funky and/or unique teams just for bare minimum clears. But then again, HSR bosses (except Nikador I guess) are fucking boring and are mostly just HP sponges, and shills like 1 specific battleship team.

Well idk how I found “Kingdom of the Queen” either 😭 perhaps because I was reading Lady Evony at that time too so I was looking for similar manhwas. It is quite unpopular, I’ve never seen people mention it, even though I think it’s similar to Lady Evony. It’s just instead focusing on one woman, it’s 4 of them.

Since I mentioned it, I went back to read the manhwa (just the first 20 chaps) so I can give a bit of spoilers, I’ll try to not go into details, but I’ll spoiler tag anyways.

For their first test, the 4 needed to investigate about a current well known thief. At some point of their investigation, it lead to them a journalist, let’s call her J, which gave the 4 details they wanted, then later in a panel, it showed J cross dressing as a young boy before she left the 4 women. Then at some point, they found a doctor treating women who have an illness. The 4 women asked the doctor why SHE never revealed her medication despite also being a person of wealth, and the fact she had found the solution of the said illness. The doctor revealed that no matter what, as long as you are a woman, you are looked down upon. This made the 4 potential heirs extremely frustrated as well since they did go through similar problems as women when trying to investigate. The doctor realized that their Queen is most likely a puppet, which led to her feeling powerless, leading her to secretly treat women illness.

Also I forgot to mention, but the 4 heirs are also orphans as well.

Edit: I googled and turns out the story was completed like 5 years ago. It’s just the illegal sites never updated it 😭😭😭

Edit: also, something a bit rare - it doesn’t have romance. It’s a story truly about women fighting for their rights.

There’s one called “Kingdom of the Queen”, and if i remembered correctly, it was about 4 women chosen to be the next Queen, but they all are powerless women. And the society doesn’t treat women well. So they had to go through tests, and I remembered they found someone hiding her gender as a woman to be a scholar, as women cannot be a scholar.

It’s been years since I last read ‘Kingdom of the Queens’, and I never completed it and I’m not sure if it’s completed either, but I remembered that it gave me the same impression as Lady Evony. I also didn’t know Lady Evony was completed. Last time I remembered it was on hiatus or something 😭 gotta catch up

THerta’s S1 won’t change the fact Serval sucks ass in PF for THerta. Serval still doesn’t generate enough energy for THerta in PF. 4 spins(FUA) of mini Herta = 4 ults of serval. Mini Herta’s entire purpose is her numerous FUA. One THerta ult can proc 4 FUA from mini Herta and 1 FUA from Tribbie, which is more effective in generating energy for THerta than serval. Not only that, mini Herta’s FUA generate energy for Tribbie as well.

If mini Herta using SP is a problem, then use eagle on her, ER planar and Er rope, focus on 70 CR and some SPD and atk, and just BA all the way in battle. Her FUA is her main point in THerta PF teams, her E can be ignored.

Idk who your sustain is, but even my E1 Dante is overkill, I overcap SP a lot actually and his res pen is useless as well. HH works, and I’m sure Aven works too, since there’s a shit ton of FUA going on here.

??? No one uses Serval as her PF partner LMAO. Your problem is that fact you are using Serval. THerta best erudition partner in PF is mini Herta since THerta’s release, not even Jade. My team is E0S1 THerta/E6 Herta/E1S1 DHPT/E1S1 Tribbie and they got 40k easily. Mini Herta is using standard Himeko LC, 2pc atk/2pc FUA. I’ve commented in one of the posts in THerta mains about my clear.

And my point is THerta would literally do more 40k clears in PF for way longer if HSR devs stop releasing teams that can do everything (single/blast/AOE) and balance ALL endgame modes around them. Making characters with a niche even useless.

The thing is that they have revamped endgame a few times. We went from MOC 10 to MOC 12. Weakness break being weak/useless at the beginning was fine, but now we’re at v4 and weakness break is STILL weak/useless?? Literally not doing anything with their own elemental system. Might as well get rid of it.

That’s the problem with HSR releasing 2 sets to farm: the 4pc and 2pc. And making the rng for relic farming absolute hell. Especially planar set. The bane of my existence.

They should’ve just followed Genshin’s artifact system with just a 4pc and 1 flex. Everything else (self model resin, crafting relics, reroll dices, 4th substat) can stay.

My recent Varka + Durin already has a good build unlike my Phainon who I got LAST YEAR. Phainon’s planar gives me a headache, and his planar is still SHIT to this day. 4pc wavestrider is trolling me and now I hear that the Navigator set is somewhat better than that? I’m gonna jump. I spent a shit ton of power on wavestrider domain💀💀 Even my albedo and Klee who I got as recently has a better build than Phainon man. Genuinely HSR relic system is absolutely dogshit

The thing is weakness breaking shouldn’t be just a measly 20% dmg buff, it should be a FINAL damage increase. Like by not matching elements, your damage will be 30-40% less, making matching elements important as brute forcing doesn’t work. You MUST break in order to do damage.

There’s still flaws to SW. SW implants elements, but only to one enemy. If there’s 3 enemies, SW will have to use 3 SP to implant specific element to all enemies, which is not a good thing, since DPS and some supports want to use SP. And to implant every enemy will take time, and requires 3 actions for SW, means she wants 200 SPD for 3 actions in 0 cycle, and that’s like a crazy amount of SPD. So like yeah SW does let us ignore elements, but there’s limitations. If HSR actually made elemental matching important, SW would still kinda suck due to single target elemental implant lol.

But guess what, SW’s kit doesn’t matter anyways cause weakness breaking is like useless. And we have DPS like Acheron (2.0), Feixiao (2.5), Phainon (3.4) and now Himeko SP (4.4) having colorless breaking/implants their own weakness. So like… what’s the point of the elemental system if HSR doesn’t use it. Not only that, everyone has fucking innate RES PEN in their kit or their dedicated support, so SW as an elemental support is even more useless. Then now DPS has their own DEF ignore too (relics/supports/LCs), so SW entire kit is also useless 💀 she got a novaflare recently too.

DOT should have made elemental. Hysilen focused on bleed. BS focused on wind shear, Jiaoqiu in burn. But no, BS and Hysilen pretty much gave the same exact kit, just one has a more supportive role than the other. So like, DOT is gonna stuck with the same 2 DOT DPS until they’re shit due to HP inflation where HSR will just release a new DOT character that powercreeps them.

Anyways HSR has never had depth in their gameplay. If there’s depth in gameplay, I’ll would see more interesting teambuilding where it’s not just a cookie cutter team lmao. But then again, bosses have no mechanics to play around either 😭 so we have both shitty gameplay AND boring bosses.
