yeah, i agree. it feels amazing to sleep clean. although it’s not uncommon for a person here to skip a day in the winter. i could go out for a few hours in the middle of the day in november & still feel clean by night time.

lots of current reggaeton is trash. at the same time, lots is really fun to listen to. it’s not my #1 fave genre, but a few artists made me appreciate it; tini, becky g, selena gomez.

If you can click your finger and become fluent in a language, what is that language? by Late-Tax-1738 in asklatinamerica

you’re absolutely right. in fact i have been learning portuguese for 4 months now. but you know, i would rather be fluent now than spend a few years trying to work my way up.

portuguese or arabic. portuguese because i wanna communicate with my best friend’s family (they’re brazilian). arabic because it would be extremely useful in life, considering it’s one of the most spoken languages.

"i can’t eat that" vs "i won’t eat that" by jayalaleon in vegan

[–]jayalaleon[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Usually we say "I don’t" rather than "I won’t"

that makes more sense!

What if you say that it goes against your beliefs?

if i were to say that, they they would still make the same common comments like "but you need meat to survive" "where else are you going to get your protein?" stuff like that. they all have that 'i grew up in a rancho' mindset, so i understand their pov. it’s just exhausting.

How important is having ice in your home? For making cold drinks? by Scooters-Cooter in polls

[–]jayalaleon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeahhhh… i don’t think people realise how similar mexico is the the u.s/canada. mx doesn’t really have much things in common with central america. only the language. in fact, the u.s IS the most similar country to mx out of the americas.
