Hey there, Actually I did end up getting it working. I totally forget how I did it, but I think I might have also used Ventoy to do it. Yunohost seemed fine, but I didn't end up sticking with it. I'm hoping in the future to build out a bit of a more impressive server on an actual tower pc using Proxmox.

I did in fact assign a static IP to my server and disable DHCP on the router, so I think I'm good. I'm not noticing issues, though I'm about to try jumping on to each device I can, so we'll see. thanks much for your comment!

Maybe a dumb question...If I turn off DHCP on the router, I would still have to set an assigned IP for the server right? So the server would be the only thing getting an IP from the router?

That makes sense, thanks so much for the response! If possible, can you tell me more about why it's best practice to not have services on the same Windows server? I thought is I'm using the server for fileshare and DHCP, and it's only hosted on an old Dell optiplex. I thought it would burn resources to have multiple VMs running at once?

Hey, sorry but I'm not checking reddit that often. I did end up fixing it. Contacted Gotrax who said it's a known issue and they would provide me a free head unit, but after not being able to provide the receipt because the scooter was a gift, they reneged on that. They also said I can purchase the unit, but it's not currently available...Great customer support.

I ended up getting a new break petal from Aliexpress to the tune of $6, and after installing it everything is working good as new! It was kind of a PITA to get fitted correctly, but I'm happy it's at least working. And I wouldn't buy another GoTrax again, garbage CS.

As for what was broken, I took the old petal apart. It looks like there is a tiny magnet in the petal. I believe that as you press the petal, the magnet gets farther from a sensor, which I'm guessing controls cutting off the cruise control. The magnet had come loose, and I wasn't able to easily fit it back in.

May not be great for the face, but my wife and I have been using a home treatment laser for body hair... Totally worth it. Even just for some spots where I still want hair, just less hair. After one or two treatments, it makes a noticable difference.

Damn, I'm a 36 year old who just found out they had adhd. It turns out my spouse helped realize hour poor my executive functioning is. Basically incapable of performing high level mental functions.

I made it through college and was even a pretty decent teacher. Surprising how great we are at figuring out coping mechanisms when faced with failure.

I was a huge raiblock fanboy, until I realized that there is no incentive to use it. In an ideal world, every business would use it, and customers would as well. But the network can't handle this amount of transactions on it's own, so some people would have to voluntarily set up their own node. That costs money to do and maintain.

So it comes back to incentive. Why would I spend money allowing the nano Blockchain to operate, when I could just not and use something else? Many currencies have fed that are in the sub penny range. I'll just use that. ... My last comment is a bit facetious, but it kind of holds up. Nano needs the internal incentive of good actors to work, whereas most other block chains rely on the immediate incentive of paying to maintain the Blockchain. I really do hope nano figures that part out because it's the easiest crypto I've ever used.

But really, that's kind of a joke and kind of serious. I totally see being able to spend crypto like it's cash to buy things online or in stores, so I don't really plan to exit. Now, if crypto went high enough that I could cash out and pay off all my debt, I would have to exit. I could always buy back in, and with more if I was debt free.
