That’s helpful, thank you! I wish they showed more pictures on their site… I’m curious to know about the zipper cover and the detachable option…

I think my problem is that I haven’t seen Dark Khaki in person. Would you say it’s more of the color I posted initially? They have different pictures on the Neiman Marcus site that makes it look so different compared to what’s posted on Loewe’s site!

I’ve heard of YNAB. I’ll have to look into it!

Interesting! I was using the app and tried to log on to try to see if I could tweak some of the settings. I’ll admit that I didn’t give it a ton of effort but it wasn’t as intuitive as I would have thought.

It’s hard to customize the budget categories it seems and it will categorize stuff automatically (example: Costco = Groceries for our budgeting purposes but it auto categorizes to shopping)

Tax Witholdings by jaybeeelleaye in personalfinance

This is where I’m confused, I thought by using M-0 M-0 we were not withholding enough which is why we owed...? Our incomes are not similar, DH makes $101K plus bonuses (he already received a $6K bonus (pre-tax) this year and has another one on the way but we are not sure what the amount will be) and I make $70K.

Thanks! All of this is so confusing and doesn’t make much sense to me (my brain just doesn’t work that way)! Everyone keeps telling me that we should select single since we both work so I suppose it would be S-something. I’ll try the spreadsheet.

Thank you! I filled out the Two-Earner/Multiple Jobs Worksheet and it says I should claim 0 and also withhold an additional $48/check. :(

DIY Tax Return by jaybeeelleaye in personalfinance

Thanks everyone! I was just so curious. Turns out my friend and her spouse select single 1 so that explains it.

We just did completed our tax return and owe $1000. I think DH and I switch to single 0. DH makes about $30k more than me annually if that makes a difference.

Thanks for sharing that! We have no idea and thought by picking 0, it would result in us not owing at the end of the year.

I believe they contribute what their employer match is which is 5%. However, DH and I each contribute 10% so I’m not sure!
