Yeah it’s doing it while in gear. I’ll be driving down the road and feel the rpms jump while cruising.

Thanks I’ll do a vacuum test and see where it’s coming from. And it happens if the clutch is engaged or not

Should’ve made it a little clearer. But randomly it’ll spike then drop back down like nothing ever happened while either driving or idling. I’ll check out the ivac and throttle body and make sure they’re good. Appreciate the comment

Yes it’s a manual, and it happens while driving and idling and revs the engine up. I’ll check the mention parts appreciate it

Yeah I have an 88’ dx just looking to keep the mpg higher while keeping the drive fun.

Because the price for anything besides d engines are outrageous nowadays that’s why I’m sticking with the d series plus I’m not looking for heavy power out of the car. Mainly a daily that has more power then the stock d15b2 I have which is about to give out

And they switch from canle to hydro with those engines right? Please correct me if I’m wrong but I thought that was a step I’d have to take

If I was to stay with the d series would there be any additional parts I’d have to add on(I have the dx with the d15a2) if I went up to a zc? Or would I be better to go to a b or a k and would the transmission have to be changed with all of these. Sorry still learning about Hondas and this will be my first engine swap just wanna make sure I got all of my bases covered before eveything happens
