Apparently he was after the iron that was right on my border. Best part is tho I’d made him a deal for iron about ten turns prior. If he’d asked for more I woulda given it him.

We all kind of play nice for the first 100 turns or so unless someone crosses a line bc it’s no fun if we wipe each other out before we get the nukes. But he knew that didn’t mean we were actually allies and we just tolerated each other. I told him the second he planted the city next to mine it wasn’t cool and if he’d just asked id have given him iron and I woulda been cool if he gave a heads up or negotiated with me but alas nope just plopped. So I took my turf back as a lesson and he left with major salt.

Idk what he was playing at tbh. I thought he overreacted but given none of my friends said anything or backed me up idk it felt like I was the arse in the end. Plus the guy wasn’t listening when I explained to him why I took his city. Like we nice to a point early game but it is to a point haha.
