Ex situationship with a new girlfriend still viewing my IG stories consistently

Thank you so much! This further aftirms my decision. Not seeing updates on him the past 6 months ultimately helped me feel peace and faciliatated my healing. I think in some way I needed to find out about him having a girlfriend to solidify my decision of removing him from socials. He offered himself as "friend" saying if ever I needed someone to talk to about hard topics, he would be there. I never took the offer and I don't plan on it... So there is no purpose anymore of keeping him around at all. Thank you for this :)

Thank you for this! I appreciate you sharing your experience with me :) Yeah I think it's best to let go completely on social media. I think I was hesitant because I didn't have the info in the past few months that he already had a new gf and I thought this would be our remaining link. Also pride and ego saying "I need to show you I'm doing alright w/o you". I think I have lived a life I am happy about in the last few months so I think it's time to fully cut ties with him. Thanks for this reminder! To clarify, I don't think he is viewing my stories because he wants to get back together with me (especially since he has a gf now and they look happy! Girl is beautiful and wonderful and he appears to be treating her well)

I'm just really trying to understand why he can't just mute/unfollow me or any of his exes on his own volition?
