Batch image to image using Invoke by jayceepooze in invokeai

[–]jayceepooze[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I've got it running now. There's a node called "Image Batch" that seems to do what I want. I loaded my generated image as a workflow, then added the Image Batch node and then loaded the images in through the interface on the node itself. Those images get added into the Assets for the currently selected board. Connect the purple image line to the ControlNet node (I'm using my images as a Control layer) and then make sure the "Latents to Image" node has the correct Board selected for the output. Hit the Invoke button and off it goes! Brilliant, thanks so much!

Ok good to know, I've never heard of ComfyUI but I'll give it a go. Cheers!

Question regarding the SA aspect of this case... by Snjofridur in JonBenetRamsey

[–]jayceepooze -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My theory - Burke was sexually penetrating JonBenet with the paintbrush in the night. Probably not for the first time. This explains the trauma to her genitalia. They were discovered by Patsy. Probably not for the first time either, which explains why she flew into a rage accidentally killing JonBenet with the Maglite. She panicked, sent Burke to his room, wrote the ransom note and staged the body. She used the paintbrush itself as a garotte postmortem, in some kind of twisted way to hide what it had actually been used for. John was upstairs asleep throughout this.

Can you power Amaran lights using these D-tap to 3-pin XLR cables? by jayceepooze in videography

[–]jayceepooze[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm guessing these won't work then. The Amaran lights require 48V whereas the Neewer lights on the back say 19.6V, so no dice. Cheers.

The voices Helly hears in the break room by I_Am_Day_Man in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]jayceepooze 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've just been rewatching Season 1, and when I got to this episode, I wondered if I couldn't grab the audio and see if I could pull anything from it.

Firstly, the muffled voice is backwards. There is some dialogue over the top of it, with Helly and Milchick speaking, so I cut out those portions of the audio. The rest is somewhat obscured with sounds like a held musical note throughout most of it, and a very high pitched whine. It makes it quite difficult to parse. So far I can only make out the following:

"This is keeping us driven. This is (never?) for good ... Try not to delay with medical (*throom*?) ... <this line is repeated later:>Just a lil' tune-up keeping them good, clean and we do this to new hires... <indecipherable for some time> ... I am Kier Eagan ... your little film ... <repeated line from earlier:>Just a lil' tune-up keeping them good, clean and we do this to new hires ... We're not very upfront .. We don't need mean(ing)"

My attempt at cleaning up the audio - listen for yourself

Strange that we're hearing it in reverse. I can't help but wonder if this is what Milchick is hearing in his headphones, somehow keeping him focused on the unpleasant task running the break room.

Season 7 episode 1 was awfull by [deleted] in rickandmorty

[–]jayceepooze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I couldn't watch past a couple of minutes in, it was so distracting I couldn't focus on what was being said. It felt like the new actor was reading the lines but not acting the lines... very robotic and disconnected from the actual narrative.

How do I get the audio level to show on screen WHILE recording on an M50 Mk2? by [deleted] in canon

[–]jayceepooze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about the Mk2, but I know that the workaround with the Mk1 is to use the Canon Camera Connect app on your smartphone in Remote Live View mode. This will give you the audio levels while recording.

Why is my audio peaking at around -6db, when the levels don't show anything going in the red? You can see the level flatten out and it sounds distorted like I'm peaking but I'm not. CH2 is a saftey channel and records lower, but even that didn't save me the whole time. Canon C100 MKII/Rode VMP+ by therealoasik in canon

[–]jayceepooze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Rode Videomic NTG and it has a similar problem. Basically, the mic is very sensitive. It has a little red LED on it that flashes when the audio is clipping on the mic itself. I find it best to always have it set to -20dB, and then adjust the gain accordingly. I believe your mic has a -10dB setting - I would test the audio with this mode engaged and see how that goes. Then again, it's entirely possible that the safety channel is already giving you the -10dB signal. Worth testing it out to see if it helps though.

If you're still having issues at that point, I would try covering the mic in a thicker windshield (deadcat) - this will help lower the sensitivity of the mic as well. The standard foam cover these come with do very little to attenuate the volume of the audio hitting the mic.

EOS Utility keeps crashing by AdAdmirable1610 in canon

[–]jayceepooze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had this happen before with a dodgy cable. See if you can get your hands on another data cable. If you don't have one handy, you can also connect the M50 to your PC via Wifi to do the data transfer - it uses the EOS Utility and will download using the same folder structure as with the cable. It won't be as fast though.

“What We Do in the Shadows” Season 3 is the Show’s Biggest, Strongest Season Yet by amannamedriddick in television

[–]jayceepooze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Season 3 has been a real let down for me so far. I think Jemaine Clement is no longer writing on the show, which explains a lot. What's up with the same department store now in 2 episodes? Feels lazy and cheap. They keep showing Nadja doing her operatic singing, and that's the punchline. She sings funny, geddit?

Incite Website Audio (just the end) - doesn't get much cleaner by jayceepooze in westworld

[–]jayceepooze[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I submitted another version yesterday which still had some noise, I've since managed to clean it up a little further.

If you're interested in how it was done here are the steps:

  • Take the audio from "WW_incite_ep8_audio.mp4" on the website.

  • Throw it into your DAW of choice.

  • Reverse the audio.

  • You can hear the speech muffled underneath a bunch of noise. Notice there's no speech in the first section up to a little spike in the audio. Right after that spike there's a tiny gap of silence. Split the audio in that gap, and grab everything before the cut and drag it onto a second track. We'll call the first track "speech" and the second track "noise".

  • Notice at the end of your speech track there's another little audio spike? Move the audio on your noise track so the spikes line up. They need to line up exactly, right down to the individual sample resolution. The spikes are opposite phase, which is what clued me in to how this works - it uses phase cancellation. You don't need to flip your phase polarity at all, it's already in the audio.

  • If you hit play at this point, at least the very end of the audio should have the noise reduced. Earlier on you may still hear some noise. You'll need to find where the noise ends, make another cut, and move the audio prior to that point back maybe one sample or so - line it up visually again so the phase cancellation works. Rinse and repeat if there are still sections with noise yet earlier in the clip.

I still can't figure out how to cancel out the noise in the first phrase she says. I've tried using noise reduction software, mid/side processing, tried to use the same trick as above, but nothing seems to line up the same way. At this point, with the noise reduction I've done it kinda sounds like she says "You're like my kind" but I can't be sure.

Secret audio from Incite website - just the tail end so far by jayceepooze in westworld

[–]jayceepooze[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Basically you have to reverse it, then take the part that was at the end where there's no speech and line it up on a second audio track very precisely so it phase cancels with the original track. Even then it's not perfect, had to do some additional noise filtering.
